Worth the money!
Very surprised at the welds produced by this welder! Myself and another more experienced welder made several beads and tacks on 10 gauge and 1/4" pieces. I had a lot of splatter with the settings used but he was very impressed with his welds, less splatter and the weld strength. I maxed out the settings due to using bigger than the recommended 1/8" thickness. We work in a factory and usually use portable millers that take time to transport and set up. This welder could be used for simple fixes and worked fine on a 25' extension cord thus saving some logistic issues. The gun seems sturdy, is easy to setup and made 8" welds without faulting or other problems. It was easy to hold with gloves on and easy to direct the weld as well. The welder was used outside on a fairly windy day and wasn't affected due to the flux core. For the money, this welder is well worth it and performed as expected. The instructions were better than normal Chinglish but no adjustment chart is included so practice pieces may be needed.

Great Beginner Flux-Core / Stick Welder
Videos on using similar Flux cored welders are available on YouTube. Excessive tension pressure on the wire feed wheel, excess wire stick out (CTWD over 1/2 inch), and unstable / shaky one-handed torch positioning seem to be the major causes for "poor operation" of these small 'Gasless Wire Feed DC Welders'. I've had zero (0) experience with a wire feed welder, less than a dozen hours using a 100 Amp stick welders, but over a decade of fitting / soldering and or brazing copper pipe for refrigerant and or water, it took less than thirty (30) minutes to make strong penetrating welds in the 1/8 in. steel channel. Works great for intended purpose; an inexpensive entry level 3 in 1 welder. Set at 75 Amps with Synergic control on / active and with supplied 0.030 (0.8 mm) Flux Core wire it welded 1/8 in. Steel C-channel with ease (trials), required 'C' tip movement. Used the wire feed welder to quickly repair a generator exhaust flange that was snapped off. Plan to use it for a future repair on my auto exhaust which will provide 100% ROI. The cost of Welder, Auto Darkening Helmet, Welding Gloves, 3M Half Face respirator, all accessories and consumables was still under $200.00 total. Purchased Forney Nozzle Gel to prevent slag buildup on nozzles and tips. Tried (recommended) Petroleum Jelly aka Petrolatum which worked the same and is the primary ingredient for all major manufacturers' products; Nozzle Gel or Nozzle Dip. Also as recommended in videos, replaced the supplied MIG Gas Nozzle and 'Holder' with a Gasless / Flux Nozzle (in photo) and Holder which makes it easier to view and control the weld pool.

Build quality & Possible replacement wires issue.
UPDATE:- The first welder had a problem with the trigger switch so Amazon replaced it, the new one was immediately put to test, a real test, I just built two gates that are 24ft wide each out of 11 gauge steel using my Lincoln mig welder & stalled it, since the mig welder doesn't have long enough extension to do finishing job I ordered this welder to weld some chain brackets using the same 11 gauge plates, this small machine can do a really nice weld but expect no clean weld as your gas mig welder, not a big deal stainless brush can do the trick, I take time to write this review mostly those who have welding hobby or home owners who just want to do some repair works, this little machine takes no space or require a bulky 240V outlet but does burn through even 11 gauge steel. I originally gave it 3 stars due to the bad trigger switch. I am giving it 3 stars because the trigger stopped working on the first use, otherwise this is a very good alternative to a regular mig welder specially to do small repairs around the house, I am sending this back for exchange, the other issue I had was the only wire that works with this machine is the one that comes with it, I try to use the same size Lincoln wire but it wouldn't work.

Easy set up
Work great, used it just the other day.The lawn mower handle was cracking and moving a lot, starting to break, brought the welder into the front yard. And welded it up, no problem. I love this because there's very little setup involved, just plug it in, put on your helmet.Clamp up the ground and you're often running

Do Not.. Repeat Do Not Waste your Time or Money on this!!!!!!
Didn't get to use it much about 3 times. I sat it upright on its base on the ground I was working on ... Gently....I went back to work it tipped over under its own force flat on the ground from standing upright on the base of the machine in which it was made for and tipped over not fallen from any height just the length of the machine itself and it broke and is UNUSABLE!!!! Now I knew I wasn't getting a workhorse by looking at the thing and even more so when I had it in my hand in person this is a light duty machine for light sheet metal understood and it didn't work half bad before it totally destroyed itself. The thing is if you have any work to do you shouldn't have to cotton ball baby a tool your working with just to do the work! The cheapness of the parts used is the problem the wire roller assembly is trashed just from a small tip over less than 6 inches off the ground . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT LOOKS COOL YEAH AND IT WORKS SOMEWHAT OK FOR WHAT IT IS ...BUT NOT FOR LONG!!!!

I thought this thing was gonna be under power and would be good to use on thin metal like body work. This thing get 1/4" glowing red hot after a few passes. I had the mastercraft flux 125i before as a portable lil welder but this will take it place. Plus I think it welds better also. It's has weight but it's not to bad.
