Imagine you come out of the shower, dry your hair, then a few drops of some mentholated tonic on your scalp...then slowly massage in. Heavenly bliss! It leaves a refreshing feeling all over my scalp and last for a little while. It's really refreshing to go to bed, with your scalp feeling cool and medicated.Now, the bottle states it promotes hair growth...I can't say if that's true or not but if your planning to purchase this is hopes it may bring your hair back.... it's up to you.Regarding application. I tend to add a few drops in my hand and rub it into my hair and scalp. I don't recommend adding the tonic to your hair directly, as you risk it running down your face and into your eyes. It burns.Overall, I give this a 9/10. It's worth the pennies, even if it's just to feel refreshed.

Has a strong menthol smell to it and it has a nice cooling effect on the scalp. The bottle cap is awful and is like a drinks bottle. I moved it into to an empty oil bottle with a cap that releases the tonic in a drip feed style and found that much better. As it's a tonic I find it dries off pretty quickly and doesn't leave my hands or hair feeling greasy. The scent can burn the nostrils when applying so wouldn't recommend it for facial hair.I can't speak for how well it helps with reducing dryness yet. Will update once I've finished the bottle

I remember this as a youngster, my Barber always used it, Time goes by and I forgot how great it was and still is, now back using it after 65+ years, and never knew it was also an aftershave product.Give it a try I am glad I found it was still available. 10 out of 10

Purchase this along side the cologne spray, they've arrived okay but the tonic has spilled a little from the nozzle which is only a push cap. Very little lost but you can see a white crusty residue (tonic) around the nozzle where it's dried, I just used some warm soapy water and a q tip just to clean it up.

Unless my hair started to grow down my back couldn't give 5 stars but it does feel invigorating on your scalp

I used it after the shower…. Omg what feeling !Refreshing product especially on summer days !
