Furniture To Go Copenhagen 3-Drawer Bedside, 58 x 44 x 39 cm, Antique Pine

I bought a pair of these as the colour best matched my existing furniture, the colour shown in the picture is very accurate - handy for matching up. The two chests I got were a nice match for each other, no doubt random good luck but good non-the-less. The carcass is solid and seems like nice timber. The drawers run on nice ball race rollers screwed into the carcass sides. Construction was pretty straight forward - but don't over tighten the odd looking black rubber bodied screw/stud thingies or the lock cams can break!While I don't need anymore furniture of this type, if I did I'd get more of this range with no hesitation at all. The new pine furniture smell these give off is lovely too.

Complete change around of the four bedrooms. All the other furniture in this bedroom now dark golden pine-a really good match. Usual head scratching to follow a quite complicated sheet plan but it all made sense in the end. The finished job looks good, is really sturdy and well finished. Drawers are solid too and use the same metal sliders as on flat pack kitchen units. Second unit was assembled within less than 30 minutes with just an occasional reference to the plans. The pair look impressive even at the side of way more expensive older pine furniture. Really pleased with my purchases.

Everything labelled well, and good instructions etc. However, each screw hole I am sure could have been drilled more to allow easier assembly. For each screw and connector the effort required to screw it in was unbelievable, less than half probably only a quarter of each went into the initial hole, then having to use a manual screw driver to finish putting them in so effectively screwing into solid wood, my hands had so many blisters which then burst and ripped the skin off too, even with covering them. Tried an electric screwdriver but the screw heads too soft for this so no other option but a manual screwdriver. I have assembled a lot of flat pack items over the years, and none needed the effort like this one to put screws in. Once finally built, I am pleased with the end product though.

After reading the reviews felt a bit apprehensive making this purchase. However, I would recommend this item without hesitation. The build is excellent, the quality is excellent. It looks superb. The chest is constructed from REAL wood, the instructions are most comprehensive and the unit fits together like a dream. All predrilled holes line up, there are even a few hardware spares which is unusual these days. Once constructed the unit is amazingly sturdy. And, the finish is excellent. Delivery was very prompt. From my personal experience I would highly recommend this unit. A definite 5* all round.

Instructions weren’t very clear took my husband several hours to build don’t like the finish a very dull dry finish lacks oil or varnish

Got mine for use as a TV stand in a bedroom. Easy to assemble drawers slide easy. Finish a bit rough. Could lightly sand it and varnish as required.

Fairly easy to build, looks really nice, feels more sturdy than other self assembly furniture I have built.

I'm giving it 5 stars although part of it arrived damaged. The product itself is very good, sturdy and easy to put together. It's not cheap and the parts are of a good quality. I was annoyed that the part was broken but was able to put it together in spite of that and it looks good. The drawers are on good metal runners and move smoothly. Would purchase again.
