Oh my! I absolutely love this wand by HISOON. I had never used a wand before, I usually just use a flat iron or curling iron. I never had been able to get super beachy waves with my curling iron, but this wand did the trick. I have three daughters plus myself that I have to curl hair on several times a week. This wand was super fast. It heats up in a matter of seconds. It has a digital display so you can watch the temperature rise. It comes with a glove that you put on to protect your hand from burns. It has an auto turn off button after 1 hour so if you forget to unplug it, it will automatically shut off. That is a great safety feature.You can take bigger sections of hair and the wand will make perfect waves. It is much faster than using a curling iron or flat iron to curl your hair, and it lasts all day long. Mine lasted clear threw the 2nd day. I almost never curl my hair because it always comes out with creases from the clamp or is has really tight ringlets and I like more of a wavy/flowy look, so I decided to try a curling wand since I see them all over the place.It comes with a black bag to store the wand, glove, and clips in which is great for keeping things organized while traveling.To turn it on, you just press the power button for a couple seconds. You can adjust the temperature in increments of 5 degrees which is nice if, like me, you have hair that is thick/coarse in some areas and fine/thin in others.My hair is pretty long, so it would twist as I was wrapping it around the barrel if I tried to get most of the length wrapped, which looked gnarled up instead of curled when I let it fall. I found that the curls looked more the way I wanted (loose, wavy) if I wrapped less of the hair closer to the roots.

I ordered this for a trip to Europe but I am glad I tested it before I went. It worked fine and I liked the product, but I have shoulder length, fine hair and the barrel was just too big for my curls to hold. I returned it to exchange for a smaller one which I am hoping will work better!

I’ve had this for a year and half. I went to use it today to get ready for our family pictures and it pooped out on me! It doesn’t get hot anymore. I had to use my 20 year old curling iron instead! Very disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for.

I really like the temperature control. Easy to use and loved the case and the glove! Purchased for a trip to Europe and worked great! Highly recommend, great value!
