Received item and lever to set hours works just ok, and lever to set minutes didn't work at all.Also, clock body was a lot bigger than expected. Returned becuase I could not set the time.

My boyfriend and I have always wanted a retro flip clock. We've been eyeing some out in our local Japanese shop but they run pricey $100+ a clock. Getting the clock to work is really straight forward. You just pop in two AA batteries and adjust the time with two pedals in the back of the clock. The only reason I docked a star is because getting the clock to align with the time is rather tricky. There are no seconds indicator on the clock so there were a few times when the clock ended up being behind after setting. For the time being I set the clock ahead since that's what we do with some of the clocks in our house anyway...we'd rather be early or on time for things than late so might as well set it ahead for a few minutes. Another thing to note is that it does make a noise when it flips. It's not silent so if sounds like little clicks or flaps bother you, I don't recommend placing this near your bedside or somewhere that requires peace and quiet. Other than that, this clock is stunning and the cream color matches the aesthetic of our bedroom perfectly. I wouldn't mind ordering this in other colors as well.

This is very cool looking clock. It aesthetically captures that retro vibe it is going for and I like looking at it. As a functional product, it does come up a little short. My unit arrive with the (internal) hour gear all out of synch and I couldn't actually set the time. I fiddled with it and got it operational and back in the correct position but I guess I have no guarantee that it won't flip back out of position, or that your unit will be repairable. I have had no major issues with keeping time. I guess it is a relatively decent value just as an aesthetic piece, however, wouldn't entirely steer you away if you are willing to gamble.

This clock looks so great and is very minimalist and sleek looking. I put little rubber feet underneath and now it is slightly raised and looks very elegant and nice. The functionality of the clock is excellent and so far the time hasn't started to lag behind. The noise level is pretty good and the readability is amazing, the clock isn't huge, but it's not small either. It's very easy to read across a room. I just love how it has cards inside the flip down, it's such a cool vibe. A great clock for the price!

Cool clock. I really like this clock the sound when the time changes is very satisfying. I haven't had any issues with the time being off like another reviewer. I've had it working for 2 weeks now without the time being off. Quality is all plastic and runs on batteries, but it feels pretty good in the hand and doesn't feel all that cheap.
