Best workout headphones I’ve owned — zero buyer’s remorse
I absolutely love the Shokz OpenFit 2+. They feel incredibly light on my ears, with no air pressure at all, which makes long workouts and runs genuinely comfortable. I don’t miss noise cancellation one bit being able to stay aware of my surroundings is actually a big plus for me, especially when exercising. I’ll be honest: if I had known the OpenFit Pro was about to be released, I might have waited. But after actually getting the OpenFit 2+ in my hands and using them, I have zero buyer’s remorse. Everything just works exactly as it should. For context, I’m comparing these to: OpenFit Air - not loud enough Apple AirPods Pro (2nd gen and 3rd gen) - use these for work and travle Powerbeats Pro (1st gen) - fustrating constant charging issues drove me crazy. The OpenFit 2+ have been rock-solid so far. Sound quality is clear and more than good enough for workouts, calls are solid, and the fit is secure without ever feeling tight or intrusive. They stay put, feel natural, and disappear once you start moving. Bottom line: These are the best workout headphones I’ve owned.

Great Product! Comfortable & Easy to Use
I bought these for my husband for Christmas, fully expecting them to be my Homer ball as he can be particular about his ear buds. But, he absolutely LOVES them and now I'm having to buy my own pair! They are very comfortable & lightweight, after moments you can hardly feel them. They don't slide around & sound is loud and clear, but doesn't impede you from hearing someone call your name. The physical button is wonderful & the main reason I bought these. My husband constantly listens to books & podcasts as he is working around the house and I hated how frustrated he would get as he was trying to pause with his existing earbuds. He'd get so frustrated he'd just pull them out so he could hear me. With these, he pauses easily and hears me the first time so I don't have to repeat or get his attention. It is true you can't hear what he is listening to but if you have the volume loud enough you can hear some noise from them. So keep that in mind if purchasing for the office.

Just Wow!!
Okay I bought these after seeing a review from CES. I wanted to replace my Poxel Buds pro 2 because they just disappointed with fit (things fall out all the time even with the new twisty thing) and thought I'll give these a try. I wanted buds that didn't fall out (or feel like they were about to fall out), and these are the answer. Fit is amazing and stays in place. I was a little weary of sound quality but, dang, these things sound incredible and can get really loud (almost too loud paired on my Samsung 24 Ultra). Sound is rich and clear and, no, others can't hear what I'm listening too even with the volume cranked. Do I miss ANC?? No! Honestly, ANC is kind of a pain - it drains battery and you constantly have to turn it off or take a bud out if someone starts talking to you. An aside - can we just all agree that if you have buds on, that's a universal sign for DO Not Disturb?? Anyway, I found myself doing that all the time walking my dog and after using these, I think I like open ear (and the added awareness) much better than ANC. If you think you'll be distracted by outside sound (like i thought), you won't be. It's an odd and comforting in-between experience where you can be lost in what you're listening to but also be cognizant of things around you if you want to be. You may have to try these for this to make sense. Comfort? Yes and yes. I forgot these things were even on my ears. Battery life? Umm- 48 hrs! And you get that without all these special conditions. Pixel buds got 12 hours if all features were turned off and I was listening to AM radio and my left arm was raised at a 30 degree angle. What about calls and the mic? Again, better than I hoped. My friends couldn't tell I was on wireless buds (I asked), when speaking even on a windy night outside. Is there anything wrong with them? Not that I can see. Pairing was seemless, Shockz app and features are great, smooth interaction and I like that there is a physical button and touch gestures to control the headphones. Nothing is perfect though and here is what I would change: The position of the physical button. I accidently press this every time I put them on - it's probably the way I put them on so I maybe I can adapt. The case - So the headphones look and feel like pure quality. You can tell right away that these are designed to perform and last. The case, which I'm sure is equally well designed but just feels like an after thought and I think that's because it's so light. It works perfectly and this could very well just be a me thing. Also with the case, these things fit in their little home perfectly - too perfectly. They can be a little difficult to get out. I have big hands though so again, could just be a me thing. All in all, great set of wireless open ear buds. Exceeded my expectations and eliminated my "concerns" about life with open ear headphones and I think all 5 out of 5 dentists would agree with me here.

Best noise canceling for phone calls and you can hear the world around you!
These are very good headset/headphones. I am deaf in one ear so I value being able to hear the world around me even with an earpiece in my ear so I love that these sit outside of my ear(s). Plus, studies show that earplugs cause bacteria buildup in your ear so having only one ear left, I don't want high bacteria levels in my ear caused by an earplug design headset. But primarily, the in-the-ear plug designs are horrible for me because I can't hear the world around me. So, over the years, I've used single (I only need one) Bluetooth headsets that have a design that sits in the ear, but doesn't plug in. However, this style is getting harder to find. The only ones left with that design are cheap BT headsets that don't have decent noise canceling (for the person I'm calling), sound tinny, and are cheaply made. I read about Shokz Openrun2 and decided to try these. All I can say is that they have exceeded my expectations. They sit outside the ear so you can hear everything around you as if you are not even using a headset. When I'm not using them, I forget I have them on. In a quiet space, they are as good as any headset with great sound for music. In a noisy space (restaurant, kids talking, etc.), you can hear the noise around you in addition to music or talk, so not the best if you want to ignore noise and immerse yourself in music. But surprisingly, they are loud enough that even when mowing my lawn, when turned up all the way on a Samsung S23, I can hear a podcast (speech) clearly! Music has great bass and the phone app has a built in equalizer so you can adjust your sound. These headphones sound great. It also has a "find my headset" feature that plays a loud tone that allows you to hear the earpiece if you get close. Controls on either side allow for advancing music, going backwards, volume up and down, and mute. Battery life is excellent. I can listen for hours, and I'm still at 30% at the end of the day. I've yet to run out in a day but they are still fairly new and I'm sure the battery will degrade with time. But the case allows for fast charging (30-45 min gets me back to full) and I believe you can charge 3 times fully before the case needs charging (USB-C). If I only use the headphones for calling, even lots of calls, I'm almost always at 70% by the end of the day. They sit on my ear great, and I forget I have them on. They are light, and the outside-the-ear design means I can hear the world around me as loudly as if I don't have them on. I've run with them and they stay on without wiggling and I once wrestled with my 12 year old and I forgot I had them on and they never fell off (he obviously never grabbed my head in any way or they may have knocked off). I believe they are waterproof as well so rain and sweat shouldn't affect them. When using for phone calls, listeners on the other end tell me that the noise canceling is excellent. The other day, I was walking outside and it was windy enough that I could hear the wind loudly on my end but the listener said they couldn't hear any wind noise. Zero. And they complimented how excellent I sounded. I've been polling lots of people when on the phone ever since I got them and everyone says the sound is great and they can't hear the background noise unless it's really loud (loud voices, banging, etc.) but they say even when doing dishes, they can sort of hear it but my voice is much louder and therefore, background noise, even if audible, is not annoying or overpowering. The noise canceling works! So, for voice calls, this headset is literally the best I've ever used and I've used many varieties of Plantronic and Jabras. I know Airpod Pro 2s have excellent noise canceling from talking to people on the phone who are using them but I could never use them due to the earplug design. I highly recommend these. Five stars.

Decent set of buds but a little overpriced
This is a decent set of earbuds because they're comfortable, so far the battery life is great, they dont feel like they're made of cheap material, and the sound quality with the optional dolby setting is really good. The default settings however, kinda sounded muffled to me but with the customizable settings through the app you can clean it up pretty easy. The app is very user-friendly and the best thing ive found is that you can pair 2 devices. They give you the example of a phone and a laptop but I paired both my phones to them at the same time and it automatically switches between them depending on which phone is producing sound. Volume control and functionality are good but I do think they are a little overpriced.

Almost perfect for sensitive ears and daily workouts!
I’ve owned several pairs of SHOKZ over the years, and the OpenFit 2 may be what I’ve been looking for. The jury is still out for a few weeks. I suffer from skin reactions in my inner ear and cannot wear standard earbuds, so it has been a long journey trying to find the right fit. I am fairly confident these may finally be "the ones." Sound & Features: The sound quality is great for basic, everyday use. I’m not someone who needs fancy Dolby features or wireless charging; I primarily use these for workouts and quick walks around the neighborhood, and they perform beautifully. Fit & Build: If I have one minor complaint, it’s that SHOKZ seems to design their headphones for larger frames/men, so they don’t fit me perfectly snug. However, the material they use is excellent—it "adheres" to the skin just enough that I feel totally secure. I never worry about them falling off during a workout. Portability: extremely lightweight, chargeable usb-c case, nice little pouch. Nothing to complain about. Value: I think the price is fair, especially when compared to higher priced brands such as Bose, etc. Volume control: I haven't played with this too much yet or figured it out but will update this review later. The app though looks to offer plenty of options for volume controls. It's a matter of learning and muscle memory, it seems. The Bottom Line: If you appreciate bone conduction or open-ear tech because you can't (or won't) put things inside your ear canal, these are a fantastic choice. They are comfortable, reliable, and skin-friendly.

Great product! Spend the extra money for the Plus model.
Love them, ever since I got them I’ve been wearing them basically 24/7. They’re comfortable and they sound great. Spend the extra money for the Plus model. I have AirPod pros and other headphones/earbuds. I don’t even touch them anymore. The battery in the earphones lasts like 9-11 hours before needing to be docked, which is awesome, and since there’s nothing that actually goes into your ear they are super easy to wear all day (you’ll even forget you have them on sometimes). I also sleep on my left side so I’ll always have one on my right ear while sleeping. It’s especially nice to be able to still hear your surroundings and when talking to people you can simply pause what you’re listening to and hear them normally. No need for annoying pass through or transparency mode. Overall I love these things. The Bluetooth has pretty dang good range. I can leave my phone in the living room and walk around my house with no connection drop. Oh, and no need to worry about cleaning them like earbuds. Since they don’t go in your ear. My AirPod pros have become airplane only earbuds. I hope that they come out with a pair in the future that’s even more slim and less noticeable. Also, these will never fall off or need regular adjusting like most earbuds.

A Very Elegant Solution
I have a pair of wireless earbuds (of a different brand) but they become uncomfortable after an hour and tend to fall out frequently. I have changed the foam tips several times (came with 5 sizes) but to no avail. I read and watched several reviews on over-the-ear models and decided on the SHOKZ OPENFIT 2+ because they: 1. Generally get high marks and were reasonably priced 2. Are more secure on the ear. 3. Fit outside the ear and are more comfortable. 4. Have great Dolby sound. 5. Have wireless charging for convenience. They arrived today and connection to both my TV and Android phone was seamless. Despite having moderate hearing issues, I'm really amazed by how well these sound. A bonus for me is that I can also hear my surroundings without having something stuffed into my ears while I'm out and about.
