I have tried countless different heatless curlers due to the fact that I stopped using heat to style my hair for the past 11 years. That’s right, nothing but air drying. I have medium to fine lower-back length hair. I think these may be the best heatless curlers I’ve ever tried. But you need to know how to use them right or your hair will not turn out and you will feel like you wasted your money. First make sure you remove the Velcro with scissors so it doesn’t get tangled in your hair. I wait till my hair is mostly air dried then I use a little alcohol-free moisturizing strong hold gel from midshaft to ends. At one point I was using mousse. I section a small amount of hair and wrap it around the curler away from my face. I have so much hair that I use almost two packs of these curlers, around 20 pieces. I let them stay in my hair for a minimum of four hours, or until the hair is COMPLETELY dry. If you are in a hurry or it seems like the curls are still a bit damp you can use a blow dryer on low heat with a diffuser to speed it up. That’s it, I don’t even use hairspray and my curls last until I wash my hair again, and I only wash my hair about once a week. Powder dry shampoo saves my ass lol. The first couple days are curly, then as the days go on they start turning to beachy waves. If you’re having trouble making heatless curlers work for you, I hope these tips help.

These looked like they'd work from the photos but in reality they do not. It's difficult to fit the elastic into the groove and the velcro sticks to your hair. Because of how they're designed you can't fit much hair around the roller. I never tried to sleep with them to see if they were soft enough because I returned them right away.

They were hard to twist.

They stay put and are better to sleep in than Velcro

My wife says ... One roller in each pkg came broken, but when I used the others I slept well on them and fantastic curl.

I love these. I have medium long hair and I can roll my hair with these so easy and they stay on all night. I wake up with beautiful long curls. They don't tangle my hair either. I took off the sticky things they come with so this won't happen. I love them. Thank you to who ever came up with this.
