Quilt Magic464501 Punch Tool, 5.5"

The first time I made a Quilt Magic Kit, I used a butter knife to tuck the fabric in. The knife worked okay - I finished my project and it looked fine but the knife was large and awkward to handle and wasn't great at tucking the fabric into small spots. I recently bought another Quilt Magic Kit and decided to buy the Quilt Magic Punch Tool and am glad I did. At 5 1/2 inches long the punchtool is a perfect tool to work with. It is light and feels nice and comfortable in my hands. The blade is thin enough to fit in small places yet large enough to work in larger areas. It does an excellent job of tucking in the fabric. Before buying it you might want to think about the blade. It is sharp - not too sharp to tear the fabric but it could easily hurt a young child. It does come with a cover but you still want to be careful when using it around little ones.The Quilt Magic Punch Tool does an excellent job.

This was a gift to help with no sew quilt. It was appreciated, since made it easier.

Works well with the quilt magic kits. You can still poke a hole if you're not careful, but there is no sharp blade. Plus it's lighter than my butter knife and easier to manipulate. Well worth the price!

I like the tool but it keeps getting lose and I have to stop and tighten it up.

This product is easy to hold while I am using it to stuff fabric. I got it to do QuiltMagic products and it helps with that. I got this product because everyone said it was better then the exact because it doesn't cut your fabric and it is true.

My quilter friend knew what she would use this tool for and thought it well made, sturdy and easy to handle. It is quite good value as it is a serious tool.

I took a piece of foam that came in with a box.I then used the punch tool to make the tree. Great way for me to use fabric scraps.First time.

I was disappointed when I finally received my punch tool. The shipping took forever. When I opened the package it was NOT the same blue tool with the rounded tip. It was a cheap Xacto knife with the blade dulled. You can see the grind marks on the blade. I was not happy at all. If I had known this is what I was going to receive, I would have just gone to WalMart to get an Xacto and dulled the blade myself and not paid the $5 for this one. Really disappointed! If they are having to make subsitutions, I should have been notified before it shipped so I could have opted out.
