Daily Ritual Women's Jersey Sleeveless Empire-Waist Maxi Dress

I love this dress!!! I needed something better than sweats or pajamas to wear all the time now, WFH, around the house, and going out to get the mail. This style is perfect for summer. You can keep cool and comfortable in it, but still be dressed enough for a quick trip to the store, or a casual video meeting. It is made in a very versatile fabric and style, that can be dressed up with heeled sandals and jewelry, or dressed down with flip-flops, or even as a beach cover-up. The fabric is super comfortable, keeps cool, and it's a little springy (lycra), so it doesn't wrinkly terribly easily, and although it seems a little bit thin, it's a good quality lightweight material. For me, it's nearly floor length, and I'm 5'4" so I have just knotted it below the knee on one side, and it's fine. The neck and armholes seemed a bit loose at first, but with the right bra it's perfect. It comes in several colors, and you can bet I'll be buying more soon!!!

I was looking for a slightly-loose fit akin to the photo even though I have a much curvier frame than the model. I was worried, based on some reviews I'd seen, that the bust would be too tight (I'm a 38C and I ordered a size large). I was so happy to see that the bust and waist were not too tight and the length and neckline were super flattering. I had bought the dress in 3 colors thinking I would pick one and return the other 2, but I am so happy with the fit and the colorways that I am keeping them all. This is my third purchase of a Daily Ritual dress or jumpsuit and I just can't say enough good things about them. Comfortable, stylish, well-fitting garments.

I bought the XL dress in black. As was noted in some other reviews it is a little revealing on top if you have a larger chest. I wear a camisole under it so I won't accidentally show anything. It is very stretchy and comfortable. I wonder if it will stretch too much with repeated wear though. If I bought another color I think I would try a large and see if that addresses the top portion. It is long enough which is nice because I am 5'10" and sometimes dresses are too short. All in all this is a comfortable flattering dress to wear in the summer.

I'm a 34B, waist 29, hips 41, aka pear shape, and I'm 5'5. So I got both the small and medium because I wasn't sure which would fit me since it's either big on my boobs and fine on my hips/butt or vice versa. The medium was too big so I gave it to my 5'11 38C sister and it fits just great. The small ended up fitting me. The only con is the front/top part of the dress is a little big and falls lower on my boobs and shows my bra which gets annoying. So I'm considering buying the XS (and hoping my lower half fits lol). If I do I'll update my review.

Out of 5 dresses this was the only one I put on and lovedIt’s flattering and fits wellI’m 5’3 and somewhere between 120-130 with a size 36C/34D bust. It fit well in XSI don’t think it’s worth 30 bucks but I won’t complain bc it was the only dress I liked out of 5 others.Get this instead of the Amazon essential brand if you want something more mature and form fitting - the Amazon essential brand similar to this dress is a little frumpy in comparison to this dress

I wear an 18/20 in dresses and ordered the XXL which is the standard size I purchase in tops for Daily Ritual. The dress fit but was too loose on the top. I have a large bust and it was also revealing. I then exchanged for an XL and the dress fit but wasn't as loose on the bottom and was a tad clingy not giving the benefits of the a-line cut. This a thin jersey material that shows every imperfection. I could have kept this dress and put some light shapewear or biker short underneath but I really don't like shapewear. If this dress had a high neck I would purchase it in every color in my normal size.

I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality of this dress for the price! The top is double thickness, but not heavy. And the bottom part is nicely gathered, with not SOOOOO much fabric. And it has pockets! I washed it and hung to dry. Little to no shrinkage. I’m 5’ 3”, 122 lbs, 36C and a small fits well. I ordered a small and a medium to try them out, and the medium was baggy under the arms in the top part. I got it in black and it is not see through.

The fabric is very soft and comfortable. I wouldn't call it dark red tho, definitely a burgundy. My granddaughter says purple even. The picture does look redder than in person. The neckline is a little too wide and deep which results in front bra straps showing and more cleavage than I prefer. I also bought the blue one and took up the shoulders about 2 1/2" and now it's better. All in all I like it.
