I took my ring to a very reputable jeweler for an appraisal. The cut, color, and clarity matched the description posted on Amazon, but the total carat weight was a full one quarter less! The appraisal that came with the ring was a full 50% more than the appraisal from the jeweler.Message from 3rd party seller:I can guarantee that the diamond weighs exactly what the appraisal says because it is a GIA certified diamond. My suggestion would be to go to an independent gemologist and they will verify the diamond is what we sold you.Dear sirs:The center stone IS the correct weight.The total carat weight is what is short by .25. [Instead of 1.8 total carat weight it was measured by a GIA Gemologist at 1.55.]I do NOT wish to publish a negative report. I am simply letting you know that the appraisal I received from you and from the independent GIA certified gemologist I used are quite a bit different, on both weight and value. The appraised value from you is 50% more than the one I received [from the independent GIA Gemologist appraisal].Thank you very much.

I absolutely love my ring❣️I took it to my local jewelers to have it appraised to assure myself the GIA certification matched the diamond ring sent. My jeweler assured me it was and it’s worth every penny the ring was appraised for and was genuinely shocked at the price $ I paid!!! Great investment!! Very happy customer!!!!
