The Advanced Art of Stop-Motion Animation Paperback – 1 Jan. 1980

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in stop motion animation. It is informative and very interesting and helpful to read. I found it extremely helpful in trying out a new technique for making a mould and cast and slush casting. It is packed full of useful information and tips, well written and designed with beautiful colour images. It is easy to read and is one of the best Animation books I have ever read. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Animation and it is well worth the money. It is written by professional people and it is one the best and most useful animation books I have ever bought.

The book cover all parts of stop-motion animation and in any chapter it goes deep and explain everything. If you are a little experienced in this art i really recommend you this book. It is not for begginers but for people how are looking for more information about puppet building, silicone casting, mold making, lipsynch and much more...

Alright book For uni

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. Not much has been read so far but it looks like a good handbook of information, a great synopsis covering all areas of stop motion.

I love it, it is greatly illustrated and the knowledge of Ken Priebe is impegable! It's a great help in the process of my first real stopmotion film.

The author of this book had announced it via [...], and many of the book and CD's contributors visit there to learn. So I got it as soon as I heard about it because of the content that Ken described. It covers the higher-end of stop motion on both an independent 'garage' level of budgets, as well as detailing what happens in professional studios. Most other books only cover things for beginners, or they don't cover things in much detail because there's so much to do. Ken covered the basics in his previous book, 'The Art of Stop Motion Animation', so this time he could avoid that and write about more specific things.I was actually excited while reading this, it's so wonderful to see what so many people are doing within this craft, and even though I'm well aware of and even talk to many of them, there is a lot I had completely been missing, as well as the section on the history of stop motion animated features, there's now a list of films I've got to check out.Great book.If you're into Stop Motion Animation, and, like me, want to learn as much as you can about it, then I cannot recommend this book enough.

Don't waste your money! I bought it thinking it would give a few more insights into Stop_Motion Animation...all I got was drivel.
