I’ve been using the Vivosun Grow Cam for a few days first with my grow tent and then with my hydroponics tower, and it works really well. The video quality is clear, and I can see my plants in great detail, even at night. Setting it up was simple, and the app is easy to use for checking in on everything. I really like the time lapse feature—it’s fun to see how much my plants grow over time. This is what I wanted this for. I have been wondering how quickly (or if) my plants were growing. The camera also sends me alerts through the app, which is helpful for peace of mind. I use a microSD card for recording, and it saves everything smoothly. The different mounting options made it easy to find the right spot in my setup. Overall, I have had any trouble with the connectivity. Vivosun makes high quality gardening and hydroponics supplies, and it is worth the money due to the durable--not lightweight--materials.

I love the Grow Cam from VIVOSUN! This product functions well, especially being on the middle to low end scale of how pricy these cameras can be! I am using it to monitor my plants and will eventually be making a time lapse booth with this camera as the most important feature. My dogs wiped out my instruction manual (I know, cliche). Even with that happening, the camera was very prompt in making itself known on the VIVOSUN app, and connecting quickly. I have not used nor tried to use the camera for audio, therefore will not speak on behalf of the sound quality not talk ability, may update as growing progresses. The picture quality is very present with this camera, while it’s no doubt lower than some, it is much higher than many models on the market. Many features including automatic night vision, time lapse, and audio are available, if you own other products from VIVOSUN this camera pairs well with anything else on their exciting store!

My first time I thought maybe the signal to my greenhouse was too far, I added an AP and made sure 2.4mhz was supported. The second time I forced my router to 2.4mhz and 10 inches from the router, it would still not connect. Personally, I think this is a POS. 2 separate units, neither will connect via BT, neither will connect via Wi-Fi, and I am tired of trying to make an inferior product work. I can say I have tried 4 of Vivosuns products, so far only the humidifier works, and initially it was woefully underserved, The h19 is a great unit, wish the rest of vivosuns products were the same.

If you ever thought about a camera for your garden. This is the one to get. Hooks up and works very well. Good pictures and works in low light.

Due to the small size of the housing, the wifi antenna's size is limited. The aluminized tent does not help in this regard. Were the tent not located in a metal building 25 feet out in the yard, this would not be a problem, and is certainly not Vivosun's fault. The Image is excellent, and it does reconnect automatically and is useful 80% of the time. I have covered the IR and indicator lights to prevent any chance of light pollution. Since I have no desire to look in the middle of the photoperiod night, this is not a detraction. The supplied mount is sturdy and easy to use.

This is my second one. No issues with the first one but the glue that holds the magnet to the part that clips onto the tent pole didn’t hold on this one. Camera fell. Thankfully it didn’t break. Used super glue to fix it. I like the visibility into the tents. The time lapse works very well. Very easy to set up. You can download it at any point. Pretty cool. Night vision works well also. What I don’t like is that even if I change the advanced settings so the VIVOSUN logo doesn’t display, it ALWAYS comes back on, maybe immediately after closing the app. This isn’t cool. Definitely worth the money but would be better without the logo always being in view.

This was easy to setup and allows viewing for long lengths of time. If you get a micro SD you can record time lapse clips for whatever settings you make on intervals and duration. The time lapse loops over and you can remove/save the video on the SD. I especially liked the colors the camera shows as the green colors look much richer and greener than camera snapshots from my galaxy tablet. I was impressed on the length of uninterrupted viewing although I found that setting shorter intervals less than an hour in the time lapse recording might cause a second or two hiccup in viewing. There were a couple of times that I unplugged the usb type c cable to reset the live feed to my tablet. If I were to compare this camera to a blink camera, the blink has detection but you can only view it 5 or so seconds at a time and you have to continuously click to view another 5 second clip. With this camera, i can view it on my tablet all day long so I simply set my tablet on my desk to occasionally view my little ones while I work. One important thing i found with (all) cameras (and I bought a lot of different kinds) is that they don't work when grow tent has all the flaps closed. The camera doesnt penetrate the mylar even if you add a wifi booster right next to the tent. I found though if I unzip one flap a little, this camera works better than any other camera I've tested. I especially like that I dont need to pay to use the software or for any subscription. The magnetic clip is a very nice bonus and combined with the bendable hinge, allows easy placement virtually anywhere in the tent at any angle. The vivosun watermark doesnt bother me and ive noticed other cameras do something similar or require purchasing/subscriptions. I like the time-stamping. I was extremely impressed with the ability to set my 14 inch tablet in landscape mode and then viewing my garden in full landscape mode maximized, something most of the other cameras weren't capable of doing. The quality of the camera in fully maximized landscape mode in 2k is very pleasing to view. This was a good buy and I ordered a 2nd one.

Item works well and easy to set up.I had to use a us to au adaptor as they can only provide a us spec power supply and i didnt have a spare 5volt only usb c power supply.

Excellent camera for the grow tent! Grab an sd card too for your own timelapses. Buy it, you'll NOT regret it.

Arrived promptly as advised. Camera has U.K. plug as pic shows U.S Camera easy to setup and gives clear and vibrant images. Much improvement over my webcam. Lost a star as it is not iPad compatible. Also the plate detached from the pole support so had to glue it back on
