It’s organic, it’s figs, here’s the info below
Okay, these are the best brand I have tried, and for a darn good price where I stand.I admit, they look a little weird colored and almost like there is a dusty white thing on the outside, but it’s just naturally crystallized Sugar! I like to hold it by the stem and eat it.The texture is nice- inside it’s thick but not dried out or watery. Remember- this is ORGANIC, so you will get ones that might be a little sour or a slightly harder texture, but the bulk of them are fantastic. You also need to remember that the top and bottom little bits you see will be hard because the stem is there and the end where the flower was still has a little circle. The circle is often hard, so I nip that bit off and don’t eat the stem. But that’s me.Someone had given me the small bag Version of them as a gift. I was hooked thereafter. Great as a snack, resealable, and definitely worth at least trying.

Tasty
Tasty figs. They are the yellowish figs. They are moist and not too dry like a lot of dried fruit. The look kinda like mushrooms. LolHave a nice smell to them and big.

Nice quality figs
These are good quality figs, with a mild fig flavor and sweet (although not sickening sweet). The taste has something towards fermented/alcoholic (but not in a bad way... just in a dried fig way).As a snack, they are chewy outside and creamy inside; you can definitely feel the seeds.I really liked there is no added anything (just figs), especially no added sugar.

pure fig but dried hard as a brick
They have no added ingredients, which I suppose is why they are mostly very hard and dry. Hard to bite into. They taste OK, probably get A+ for being only "fig" with no added oil, glycerin, whatever other people use to make figs soft, but the package says soft. They are not soft, at least the ones I got. So probably good for health but just not pleasant to eat. Probably better for cooking. About 1/3 of the pack I got were soft enough to bite into, they were nice. The other 2/3 would have to be softened by cooking or at least soaking

Super!
I needed figs for making fruitcake and my local grocer had none. Fear not, there's Amazon! These figs arrived quickly and are so flavorful. Thanks for being here!

Love these figs
Figs are the kind of snack that you either love or hate and are grossed out by the taste and smell. I am in the love category and eat them with cereal, salad or just chew on one as a snack. I love the texture and its sweet taste. I like to split them open and eat the little seeds inside to prolong my enjoyment. If I sound obsessed, perhaps I am!

Skip these
I've bought all kinds of figs online and it's not easy to find delicious dried Smyrna figs. I see that the reviews for this brand are extremely mixed. Mine were dry and almost inedible. Also crystallized and hard as rocks. Maybe the season matters. If you buy them in the fall, you might be better off. I will try to make fig jam out of these. It's more of a sure thing when I purchase Black Mission figs online. They are usually soft, tasty, sweet and delicious. But not always. I once had to ask for a refund. They were spoiled.

Flavorful
I love these. I can use them in place of fresh (which are monstrously expensive here and get moldy within a day or two of purchase) because they aren't completely dried and are more versatile. Must keep refrigerated though. They're costly too, but there's no waste. My favorite recipe involves soft goat cheese (or cream cheese in a pinch), chopped walnuts or pecans and chopped olives. A touch of honey and sea salt. Magnificent. If I could grow fig a fig tree in my yard, I would.
