Sizes are large
Hi I did not necessarily use the product yet because as you can see it was too big but it does feel sturdy. I have a great Pyrenees and I ordered an extra large and as you can see it was too large

Good for keeping paws warm and dry if you get the right size however seem to have little traction and make dog sound like horse
Purchased the 3x-small version for my 12 lb terrier/poodle pup. They seem to fit him well, if they stay on - which I think is the problem for most dog owners, their dogs, and the boots. Once I got my pup to cooperate with me and put them on tightly, they stayed on pretty well. Though, one time one came off in the snow it was rather hard to find. The next time out I tightened the strap up a bit more and it seemed to stay on better.I did notice that my dog still slips all over the place with these things on, though unfortunately. Not great for playing in deep snow for obvious reasons of them falling off and getting lost, but pretty decent just walking in thin snow or on cold surfaces. Both times after we came on I checked his feet and they seemed relatively dry unless any snow happened to fall in (my dog has hairy poodly legs so all the snow gets stuck on there instead). The reflective band also works well. Kind of a pain in the tail (heh) to put on when the dog is moving around and only moderately easier when still but eventually the paw should easily fit in there. From there you can tighten the band with the velcro strap. Depending on how tight it is you may have some slack.I personally got these to protect my dogs' feet from the snow, cold, and salt and to mostly keep them warm and they seem to do a pretty good job, especially for the price. My dog seems to forget he's even wearing them outside for the most part but is still getting used to them while inside. Outside they've made him sound like a horse as the rubber soles hit the snow on the street. I couldn't help but too laugh.Update (12/2016): After only one winter with these, holes started appearing in the shoes. These weren't worn extensively, only moderately. I patched them up and they still do the trick, for the most part, but the quality seems to not be there if you have to buy a new pair every winter. Before they fell apart though, they worked for keeping his feet dry.

Helped us greatly during a really tough time
We purchased numerous of the Guardian Gear boots for our German Shepherd, Boca, who was diagnosed with Degenerative Myleopathy, a horrible disease. The product was useful because as the disease progresses, the dog starts dragging their back feet a little and gets cut up. We used them to cover his back feet and they were a life saver. We tried a lot of treatments, and in reality probably went a little too far keeping him around, but without these boots it would have been really tough to have the extra time we had with Boca at the end. They tear up after a while and we went through a lot of them, but because of our situation they were really put through a tough test. They seem to break apart a little after washing them a lo, but they are a good product when you need them.I'm not sure how they would be for a dog who had full use of all his legs, they might be al little awkward to walk on but I could see how they would be great for snow, or to protect your dogs feet in rough environments.

I bought these for my great dane that has what we believe to be degenerative ...
I bought these for my great dane that has what we believe to be degenerative myeopathy (short description: he's slowly becoming paralyzed and cannot feel his extremities). Walks became impossible because he would drag his right hind leg just enough to bust open his nail or wear through his pads (even just a block) so we decided he needed some protection. These shoes fit well enough and they did not bother him though I'm sure it's because he cannot feel his foot. We only use one at a time because right now it's only the right foot that is most affected. After a walk around the block, he was done. The shoe did its job and protected his paw. The only issue is, there is now a hole worn through where his foot would have been dragging on the ground. I'm going to wrap these in duct tape to add a layer of protection. These shoes are great but are too thin for what we need. I think these would work best as protection during rain or snow or somewhere that isn't all cement.

These are pretty good although I used them in a non-standard way
These are pretty good although I used them in a non-standard way. I had a wonderful dog that gradually lost the use of her back legs (and eventually her front legs). For about 6 months, I helped her walk by lifting most of the weight off of her back legs. She would drag her back foot forward with each step and without protection her nails would bleed or her knuckles would bleed. These dog boots offered the required protection. Since she dragged her feet a lot on rough concrete, they didn't last more than a few days but they seemed pretty comfortable and stayed on pretty well. I tried many other brands and none of them worked as well. These don't have the thick rubber pad that some boots have, but the thinner material allows them to conform to the dog's foot. I probably bought 20 sets of these (and used them two at a time).

Perfect for injuries or cold, but hard to keep on!
I have a German Shepherd obsessed with playing fetch, and she recently tore her pads up running on asphalt and very abrasive grass. Since I couldn't get her to stop, even when her feet were bleeding, I put these on her- now she can run and play (and really didn't even seem to mind them that much!) with no limping and no concern about further damage. We had to strap them on so tight I thought it would be painful for her just to make them stay on when she ran, and that makes me nervous, but that's the only way to make them stay on her feet. The velcro has to be cut when they're strapped on because we ended up with about 8 inches of extra strap- not a big deal, but seems excessive. I would purchase this item again, though it seems it has some minor design flaws.

Work well for massive feet, for occasional wear
3.5 stars for this one. This product is getting a really bad rap for user error!XL boots are VERY big boots, fyi. They fit my dane/rottie cross who has been a hard fit for boots. However, with that said, I wouldn't class these as regular everyday winter boots. They're just not meant for foot draggers/trotters, and the soles are softer and better for much, much smaller dogs (which of course have thousands of items already tailored to them :/ ) But they definitely are great for when Bag Balm doesn't work, or injuries, and fit unlike balloon shoes. There is a lot of room for strap adjustment, so even if a bit big, you can make it work. The strap can go quite snuggly, so they're not easy to kick off. Obviously if your dog is smart enough, he can undo the velcro (but usually not incredibly quick). I much prefer these to balloon shoes as they're easier to put on if they get pulled off and I'm on the go (I occasionally use balloon shoes for my smaller dogs, which are hard on the hands to stretch without the tool, and my dogs hate them. The dog these boots were purchased for has front feet too big to fit in their largest sizes). They are beyond enormous on my 100lb collie/retriever cross' feet, though, so I wouldn't recommend them to grab at that size, even if you could make the straps almost work. If they're falling off, they're too big (for the majority of people leaving feedback who don't seem to get sizing so well). Save yourself a headache and look up a YouTube video on how to correctly size your boots. Or don't, and maybe I'll find myself some more cheap dog boots for giant breeds in warehouse deals (not complaining about that LOL)

Not made for Canadian Winter, Not durable. Waste of $$
The bottom of boots started to fall apart a little after the first short walk under -15°C. The fabric on top is very stiff and not meant for cold weather, very noisy when it’s cold outside. The bottom totally fall apart after three days in -25°C to -37°C, wasn’t even hiking or walking/running on rocky surfaces. Snow accumulated in the cuffs when my dog went into 10cm deep snow, some of the snow even managed to go inside & melt, so one of the paws got wet & cold. The top part worn out during the fourth day. It will cost me $6.95 to mail them if I want to return or refund them and I don’t know whether I can return them after wearing them. Also, I still need to find replacements/substitutes due to the extreme cold before I can’t throw them away, otherwise the icy ground will be too cold for the dog.The Velcro managed to secure the boots without falling off even with my dog ran & jumped a bit, that’s the only part I’m happy about. The boots size ran a bit big. Ordered Size L for my 60lb dog, slightly too big for the front paws and way too big for the hind legs’. My dog doesn’t mind the boots but not all dogs will like them. The boots don’t provide much traction, not meant for running or walking on slippery/ icy roads. Probably just made for city dogs & warm winters. These boots are the only “cheaper” opinion I have at the moment to keep my dog paws warm & dry-ish. I would have made something simple with Velcro on them if I have the time. I was putting human sock with Velcro wraped around my dog leg before, when one of the boots went missing from the old pair of dog boots.Update: the bottom of the boots totally worn out after two weeks :(

Awful
These boots are awful. The base layer is a plastic/hard rubber that hardens in the cold and cracks/disintegrates extremely fast. We're on our third walk and most of the base of the boots are gone. The build and fabric for the rest of the boot is fine. I recommend solely using these as spring/fall boots as the cold will destroy them.If you need winter boots for your pooch, spend the extra $25 and get Muttluks.

Mala calidad
La verdad no me parece un buen producto, ayer llegó y salimos a caminar como 20 min y ya están un poco rotos, al perrito le cuesta trabajo subir las escaleras porque no son antiderrapantes. En resumen no ofrece lo que promete en su descripción.

The bulldog didn't like them
Got these for the bulldog because there's a lot of salt thrown out here. She didn't like them. But the product seemed well made so I don't blame then.
