Ok, I'll be honest. I was one of those 'Lego only brand' exclusives. Why? Because I didn't think there really was a good enough alternative out there that would be compatible. So when it came to needing a base plate I was rather stuck because - well everyone knows just how expensive they are. So I took a little tongue in cheek look at some of the other brands, saw the reviews for FunHaven's products and thought that maybe I ought to give them a try. I ordered what was really a test to see how good these base plates were. My 32 by 32 stud black base plate came well packed together with a free gift I was not expecting which was rather nice. The plate is sturdy, black and works perfectly with my Lego bricks. I really have nothing bad to say about it. It is about as thick as a normal Lego plate (not like the thin flexible baseplates) which in my opinion is much better. I am so pleased to find a decent quality product that is amazingly priced. From now on I will be getting these base plates - not just because they are a good plate and there's a good range of colours but also because I will simply be able to afford them!

Great product for mounting Minifigs!Very fast delivery, actually feels stronger than the genuine Lego base plate. We mounted Series 13 mini figs on the base plate. Wish I could say that I thought of the idea but saw it on youtube.Great service and thank you for the free gift ;)

Pleased with the plates, look good and compatible with Lego. A little bit of a long delivery wait but I wasn’t in a rush. I needed to cut some to size for a project and this was easy to do with a Stanley knife no problem.

Sturdier than the normal Lego ones you get. My daughter's Lego connects onto this base brilliantly and it's easier for her to carry it without pieces falling of or it becoming flimsy like her Lego one she has. Would highly recommend.

These are a great alternative to expensive Lego baseplates I like the variety of colours available and they are pretty sturdy. I have noticed some Lego parts as in smaller pieces and small flat pieces can be hard for children to put on. I both my 8 years and 2 years can get a little frustrated with it at times but overall it is a good alternative.

The plates are large and come in different colours. They are compatible with the standard lego figures. Most importantly (for me), they are cheaper than the alternatives. Arrived promptly, nicely packaged, with a nice note from seller. Great product, great price, great service. Will buy several more plates for the kids to build more space ships.

Compatible with the lego I have. Thanks for the free gift, nice touch.This base plate is slightly thicker than the lego base I have so unable to join them together to make a giant base. The price has increased since purchasing so will wait for the price to reduce before ordering more.
