Is this Firm or Hard? The reviews are confusing.

I would call it hard. I buy them because it is easily the hardest toothbrush i have ever had and I like the way it scrubs my teeth and is slightly abrasive to my gums. Since the late 1960's I have made a point of finding a sourc for this item.
