Deculturalization and the Struggles for Equality
Joel Spring has a gift. In his simple and straightforward way he lets the reader know exactly what went on, is going on, and what may eventually happen if no one does anything to intervene or right the wrongs that have been made. There is no swaying or bias in his writing, but simple and plain facts. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his book....some chapters more than others, but all were good.

Interesting read
The material in this book has taught me a lot of how the struggle for equity continues to be a challenge for minorities even in today's world. We've made strides in race relations and improvement of equality but the fear and the constant move to take away peoples culture continues and leaves minorities asking if true equity is even possible. Good book!!

Nice supportive insoles
I bought these a while back for my husband who likes extra support in his running shoes. He was so happy with them that he asked for new ones when he replaced the old sneakers.

Great Book
This is a book all educators should read. It tells about the backgrounds of our students and gives you better insight to some struggles they may have been up against. Great read.

textbook for school
Informative but a little dull. Very good for teachers though who want to be aware of the cultures in their classroom.

Very informative
This book was purchased for a multicultural education course. It was more of a political or historical text than anything on education, but was very informative.
