And the bust area can be too big for petite women like myself.
There's no give with this fabric AT ALL!! And the bust area can be too big for petite women like myself...I wish this was made with a hit of spandex...on the flip side it's a G.O.U.R.G.O.U.S. DRESS I love it so much I got married in the church with it!

beautiful and worth the price. bust runs small
This dress is beautiful. For the price, it is excellent quality. Although it is very similar to the "aisle be there" dress in mod cloth or the trashy diva "honey" dress, it isn't the same. That dress does "feel" more expensive. But in all honesty, I like this on one. It is more flattering. This dress does seem to run a little small up top. I measured myself before ordering and it was still a little too small in the bust. But fit everywhere else nicely. I ordered the next size up, hopefully it will fit. I usually wear a 12 or 14 in dresses, and the xl was too small. But I do have a large 38/d or even DD bust ... if you have small chest, I'm sure your usual size will work. But large busted girls may have to order a size up. I will update my review once I get the larger size. All in all, it is a gorgeous dress. It is not white by any means. It is a darker shade of ivory. It is beautiful! I will be wearing it for my courthouse wedding.

If you have boobs, don't buy this.
The dress is gorgeous. It is just sad because I ordered the size I wear, an XL, and the size chart says up to 41 inch bust, I am a 38 inch bust, and it wouldn't zip up. I was going to wear this to my courthouse wedding and now I can't. I wish these sellers hadn't gotten my hopes up with false information. :(

Runs small in the waist
This dress is gorgeous. I love the 50s style and bought it for my wedding. I normally wear a size 8-10/medium but I since most of the reviews said it ran a bit small I got the large, which should be a 12-14. I could not zip it! The material is a really pretty polyester with a little bit of sheen(in ivory) and it was really well made so I didn't want to give it up. I took it to a seamstress who put a gusset on either side and it was great. A petticoat underneath and it looks amazing! Another thing to note is that if you are larger chested you will overflow... I'm a large B/small C cup and without a bra it was almost corset cleavage. So overall I love the dress but had to pay double what it cost on Amazon to have it fit :(

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this product and seller
I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this product and seller. To start, I ordered a small, after reviewing the seller provided measurements. I absolutely LOVED the dress, but I couldn't zip the top. They had sent me a size 2 and I'm a size 4 (a 2 should be an XS by their chart). Not a huge deal so I ordered a medium. The medium is now too big on the top. I could live with this if it weren't for the quality issues. They've sent me a very noticeably inferior product to the original sent (I've yet to return the size 2 so I can compare)1) The color is much darker, almost a champagne2) There are no pockets3) The skirt and liner are sown together as opposed to two separate items (which I'd be fine with except the quality is poor)4) The zipper is on the back instead of discretely on the side5) The cowl along the front sticks straight out in front instead of nicely laying flat along the dress6) The material seems to be of lesser quality7) The size 2 is Candice Gwinn "Trashy Diva" Dress, so are they passing off someone else's product?

Gorgeous!
This dress is beautiful! It's practically the same dress as the Aisle Be There dress on modcloth, but this one's half the price! LindyBop.com has a similar one too, the "Ophelia" dress, I believe (but I think that one looks more busty). The medium in this dress fit me just about like a glove (I'm 5'4", 34B/C, 28" waist). The armhole cut into my little underarm fat a bit, but no one's going to be looking at that in this dress. The bust was a little big, but one of those stick-on silicone bras does the trick. I wore a 21" petticoat with this, but I would suggest a 24" be best, or maybe a 25" (the dress is about 26" long from the waist to lowest hem). On the tag inside this dress it reads "no dry cleaning or ironing", which leaves you scratching your head as to how to get the wrinkles out. I took I to a dry cleaner and they tried steaming it to no avail, then just ended up ironing it. Save yourself the $12 and iron it yourself (also, they said there's no reason it couldn't be dry cleaned). Enjoy!

I'm very pear shaped
This dress fit perfectly in the waist area, but was a little big in the chest. I am pear shaped, with about a 32in waist and I wear a 36C.The material is great, but the tag says something like, "Do Not Dryclean, Do Not Iron, Do Not Wash." This is a problem because the dress comes pretty wrinkly out of the package. I sprayed it with water and put it in the dryer anyway. It got most of the wrinkles out.

Lovely but not what I expected
I was hoping for a lighter shade of Ivory. I could not zip up the dress. The dress is lovely but I was hoping I could wear it for my wedding dress.
