Scantronic 9448 Alarm Panel

Old box blew, just ordered the same one and fitted, saved a fortune not having to call an alarm engineer.

Our Scantronic 9448+ panel developed a fault after many years of reliable service. I looked to find a similar panel as a replacement and was surprised to find the exact same panel still being manufactured. This made replacement very easy.Of course, it's not a 'smart' panel with WiFi connectivity, but if you've a wired system and you're happy with a more traditional type of panel, I would recommend this one.

Replacement for a very old (20+ years) 9448 panel, easy swap for the old unit, even the screw mounting holes are in the same positions.

Updated version of old model, very pleased with it. Looks great and works as expected. As any such device you have to be familiar with to fit it as its fiddley, and an electrical device. Ours was fitted by an electrician.

I gave it a one star for the product NOT the seller, purchased this to replace my existing one that had been installed over 16 years, only to find that it was faulty - no chime etc although i programed it to, when entry and exit doors open!.i received a prompt refund from the seller (thank you).
