Coming from the 2023 Joying head unit I had in my Jeep Wrangler, I recently installed the 13" Single DIN Mekede Dudu7 Android Head Unit, and I’m genuinely impressed with what it offers at this price point. The CONS: The screen is HIGHLY reflective. I would like to see them move to a mini-LED panel for extra brightness punch and a matte screen for anti-reflective properties. I would pay more for such a screen. This is currently the android head unit king. I review a lot of these head units on my ew-too channel. I spelled it like that on purpose but if you say it out loud you can find my video. It's called "Every mekede dudu7 setting". Here's a quick breakdown of my experience: Value for Money For the features packed into this unit—large display, Android system, GPS, Bluetooth, and more—it’s hard to find a better deal. Comparable models from bigger-name brands easily cost twice as much without offering anything significantly better. Size The 13" screen makes a big statement. It’s large enough to clearly see maps, media, and settings, yet it still fits well into the dash thanks to its single DIN base. The screen floats, but it doesn’t obstruct my AC controls or vents. Ease of Use Setup was simple, and the Android interface is familiar and intuitive. Whether you're navigating apps or adjusting settings, it all feels straightforward—even for someone not especially tech-savvy. Brightness The screen is vivid and bright enough to remain visible in direct sunlight. Night driving is also no issue, as it dims down nicely without becoming unreadable. Functionality With Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, reverse camera input, and full access to the Google Play Store, it turns your car into a smart device. I’ve streamed music, used Google Maps, taken calls, and even watched YouTube—flawlessly. Fit The single DIN fitment was easy to install in my vehicle. The adjustable mount made it simple to position the screen just how I needed it for optimal viewing and control. Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a modern, affordable upgrade that brings Android power to your dashboard, the Mekede Dudu7 is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

I bought no less than three Android Head Units hoping to find the best one. Turns out the DUDU7 is the one. Search online for "DUDU 7 Review" and you will find my professional testing at Audio Science Review. DUDU7's Lauchner software is far superior to other units which ship with a low resolution/low capability dashboards. The level of noise and distortion out of both analog and pre-amplifier output is lower as well. I paired the DUDU7 with a DSP Amplifier using Toslink and there is zero noise even if you put your ears against the speaker. Performance is wonderful and far, far superior to any traditional head units. I finally managed to get a harness to interface with the vehicle Canbus and was so pleasantly surprised to see so much integration including such things as graphically showing what door is open, automatic headlight detection, etc. Before that I reached to the company about the right harness and they were so attentive and good English writing skills. Not so with the other head units I tested. I have installed all of my favorite apps with zero compatibility issues. Downloaded google maps so they work without network access. Having very responsible, high resolution display of that in the car is a joy. Cost is also half of the Sony unit I was looking at with similar digital output. The 9.5 inch display is really 9 inch and so fits in the dash of our Sprinter van with the mount we already had although having more options would have been nice. With the right wiring harness for the car, it is just plug and play. I like that entire electronics is behind the display itself so no effort to push the cabling behind the unit as there was with double din units. There is a fan in the back which only came on when I stressed the system with app downloads and such. It quickly shut off and stayed so in every day access. This is the clearly the most customized and optimized implementation of Android for Automotive. It easily obsoletes traditional units. While then one I got is pricier than some other competitors, they often run older versions of Android with no ability to upgrade. Bottom line, highly recommended!

I recently installed the DUDU7 head unit in my 2007 Honda Pilot, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The sound quality, display responsiveness, and modern features (wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, and backup camera support) completely transformed my old car into a tech-savvy ride. Installation went fairly smoothly overall, but I did run into a small hiccup with the dash fitting frame I had purchased separately. That’s where Cheney from DUDU7 customer service truly shined — she was incredibly patient and professional, guiding me step by step through the proper fitting and even following up to make sure everything looked perfect once installed.

This is a great quality head unit, but the online only instructions are not helpful and do not even match the installed software. May be great if you are a professional car audio electrician or engineer experienced with an android car head/stereo. Many menus, options and truly great custom setup. Very frustrating install and setup. Have spent more than three days just setting it up and figuring it out. If you want plug and play, this unit is not for you. If you like figuring things out and doing a lot of research this will be fine. This unit really needs twinning and much better setup instructions on paper or at least a real manual, not an online wiki page.

Currently the most well spec'd android Headunit on the market. It has the Latest and greatest processor and ram you can find on any Headunit hence the price. This was an unknown company to me but after much research and finally owning and installing this unit I found them to be one of the best quality units I've used. I've had Joying units and other android headunits I've enjoyed using, but this thing blows the other android units out of the water. I'd say the mainstream guys such as pioneer and Alpine can't match feature wise, what this unit can do. I got the 10.36" screen for my 2001 Toyota sequoia. Please note that the head unit is only meant to fit an 03-07 Toyota sequoia. The center dash is different on a 01-02 sequoia. I posted images at the bottom to compare. The 01-02 pictures in black has a smaller double din hole that won't work with this unit, it's too small. You'll need the 03-04 center dash pictured in bronze/brown, which is wider. There are a few things you'll need to switch over from the 01-02 center dash on to the 03-04 center dash for everything to bolt on and for A/C to function but if you have a 2003-2007 Toyota sequoia this unit will be a direct fit. The Headunit is fast and extremely responsive. The built in DSP has improved my sound quality significantly. My new CT sounds speakers sound significantly better with just this Headunit installed. I'm still running on the factory JBL amps and I could not believe my ears, I thought they sounded great with the factory JBL head unit.... Man it's actually night and day now. The soundstage has changed drastically. It's like I installed a new amp to drive my speaker, that's how drastic the sound difference was for me. I currently have Google maps, Spotify and torque running as the main apps. I use torque with a Bluetooth obd2 device to get engine vitals for the car such as coolant and transmission temperature. YouTube and Netflix work great. The wife can watch shows and movies on long trips. The amount of customizability and features this unit has is wild! There's no need for any limitations you get with android auto or apple car play. This unit makes all that pointless. Just use it like an android tablet or phone. No limitations. You can download any app from the Google play store and use it. I got the bluetooth remote with with the unit, it took a few minutes to get into the menu to activate the functions but it paired right up once I did. I've programed the keys to do what I want and it's attached to the steering wheel for easy control of the Headunit without touching the screen. I bought the 360 camera but haven't installed it yet. Will install it as soon as I have time. If you're on the fence about picking one up for your 03 and up sequoia or equivalent tundra, just do it. It's a beautiful and performing unit. I got help from Cheney once I placed the order. She trys to make sure you get the right adaptor for your unit. The adaptor is an extra cost but definitely needed to mount the unit to your center dash. It came without instructions but Cheney managed to help me understand how the pieces came together. There's a gentleman by the name of RAW-CAt on YouTube that test the output of this unit. Check him out to start your research on the capabilities of this Headunit.

This is THE BEST head unit for Mercedes R230. I say this bevause I've bought two of these now, the version 6 version before this in 128gb 9.5 inch 8Gb ram version and now this one with the same specs and version7. I've not installed this yet but testing it in my bench and comparing it to the v6 this unit is significantly better. Its faster, has three screen split screen mode, and works with the same steering wheel Bluetooth remote by duduauto (that seems to once again intelligently auto-pair, love it!) and the 2.5k AVAS-enabled front camera. This unit also supports USB3.2 for gigabit speed usb connects to my usb v3.2 4Tb media drive I connected to it and it is zipper, the media searches are comparable faster. I need to buy a R230 SL63/SL65 dash bezel so I can install this but the tech contact Cheney I've worked with is very helpful and sharp and responds regularly and very effectively! His help as well as the great products now, now my second one, makes me love this solution. The front dash cam is AWESOME, if you set it up and calibrate it quickly it will tell you at a stoplight when the car in front of you moves and if you move out of your lane and it tells you how far away the cars are in front of you--it ranges them like a Tesla with the front 2.5k duduauto dash cam! Very impressive integration! I recommended that the add miles per hour as well as kilometers per hour to the settings options and thats underway to make these products perfect by me. Great quality and ease of setup--any questions, message their support. I wish I could have afforded the 12gb model with more storage, but the 8gb does great and the faster usb v3.2 USB-c connect on the back allows easy optimally fast additional storage. You want yo upgrade your R230 stereo, this is the item and get the best...you won't regret it. I cant recommend this product any more, its SUPERB. THE 9.5 sized one seems to be the perfect fit for 2006 to 2009 R230 Mercedes convertibles and support will work with you to make sure you have all the needed cables/accessories and adapters like they did 2x for me
