This astrolabe is a very solid replica. It has instructions and looks like it would work.It was a gift and the recipient liked it very much.The company sent it out promptly - faster than I expected.

Got her quick. 2 was early. Nice, very nice. Beautiful Brass with all working parts.

Took longer then expected in the mail but arrived alright and in good condition. Astrolabe came in a nice box with 2 booklets describing the history and how to use it in 4 languages.

This is beautifully crafted, comes in a wonderful gift-box kit with booklet and instructions, is well made, good weight to it, and a decent size.I read one review that stated this item was smaller than your hand - Well, that person much be an ogre, I have perfectly average sized hands, and it fills my entire hand easily. It is a good 2" dimension, maybe a little more (I haven't specifically measured it) but is a good practical size.Am very happy with this piece, makes for great collection or gift.

Not to my expectations; I understood there is a wooden case with it.

I like this product. Carefully and precisely made, with much accompanying literature and handsomely boxed. The "aging" looks added, of course, but is nicely done. It fits in well with my display of actual antique instruments.

Product shipped very quickly and was exactly as described. Beautiful piece of work.
