Solid budget friendly Light bars
Bought this two pack of Nilight 18w 6” flood style light bars to put as reverse lights on 2023 Yamaha grizzly 700 and 2023 Yamaha Kodiak 700’s. The Kodiak has a rear seat/cargo box installed on rear rack and I just installed the 6” light bar on the rear under side of cargo box. On the Grizzly I removed the rear reflector these wheelers come with from the factory and bent the metal tab in and upward on the rack then drilled a hole and mounted the 6” light bar, it is a little close to the rear brake light but doesn’t effect or hinder the brake light visibility whatsoever. I did buy the Nilight “light bar harness kit” to make these installs a little faster, did have to cut down wiring on the light bar wire harness kits as they are made for actual vehicles which is fine because I solder all my connections anyways. On both the grizzly and Kodiak the 6” light bars are wired straight to battery with harness kit so you are able to turn light on even when key is out of machine and machine is off which we wanted. Both of these machines also got 13” single row light bars under the front rack, I made my own wire harness’s for those with a fuse and relay with the trigger to high beam wire so when you activate factory high beams on both wheelers it kicks on the front light bars as well. Even with both front and rear light bars on, hand warmers on high and factory lights on both these 2023 Yamaha Grizzly and Kodiak 700eps models don’t bog down on power, nothing dims, the machine handles everything perfectly. So far down to freezing temps, very wet and muddy conditions these 6” flood beam light bars have been holding up phenomenally, no condensation in lenses, no issues whatsoever. For something like 4 wheelers these are plenty bright even for dark nights here in AK. For the price you can’t beat it! Would highly recommend any of the Nilight brand light bars!

Great ATV headlights!
These lights are just what I wanted for my ATV. I have not installed them yet, but have checked them on the bench with the power supply. The brightness & area covered by the beams are great for an ATV or similar vehicle. Of course, while one light is great, I am referring to both lights together. The 'spot' type is the way to go on these type lights for use as headlights. The spot is not THAT tight. The flood types are too wide, and are less concentrated, so they don't look as bright (as headlights). The spots have it. A great thing about LEDs is they give you about the same brightness as incandescent/halogen bulbs, but at 80% less power, and run cooler (but still have some heat). As with all these LED lights of numerous styles, none of them are rated by the specs correctly. Going by Ohms Law (relationship of Voltage, Current, & Watts[power]), all of the LED headlight type lights I've purchased & tested are less actual power than rated. The 36Watt Bar style (7in spot or flood) actually use about 26-28W at 12.5Volts DC. Adjusting the voltage some does not bring them up to the rated power. The 72W (13in spot or flood) uses about 54-58W at 12.5VDC. I have also tested a 144W spot/flood combo, 48W & 27W square spot and 27W round, 15W spot (like the style I'm reviewing here), 18W rectangle-style spot, 18W surface mount, this 18W spot light, and several 10W, 12VDC wall-mount wide-angle flood lights. Every LED light was significantly lower in power than rated. The higher the power, the bigger the difference; I guess it's a certain percent each light drops. All were bought two at a time, and some lights more than two. So I have checked enough of these LED types & styles & powers to know it's just the way it is with these lights. My buddy has had the same experience as well. I also suspect the rated Lumen output (brightness) is not what it actually is, but I don't care to buy a light meter and check all the lights under the proper guidelines. With all that being said, if the LEDs are not being pushed to their power limit, they are straining less, and have less current drain on your battery/alternator. Also, as I said above, these 18W 'Spot Work Light Off Road' are a VERY bright package, great for ATV headlights. A single one would be good for a truck cargo light, back-up light, trailer hitch light, maybe several on a 15' fishing boat for night fishing. They look & feel good and solid. I have bought other Nilight LED lights and been happy with them. I hope this review helps a lot of folks. I had a lot of questions when I started looking into LED headlights for my ATV. Pics below; night one is 40ft to the camo woodpile. The first pics are the 15W LEDs, like this light, but less power. Red Honda pics are 18W LED, but a rectangle style. Lights are at same distance, but not aimed exactly the same. And the camera does not see all the overspray to the sides and beyond the main beams. Much more side & downroad light is seen than shown. If you want to keep reading... I contacted 4 or 5 dealers I purchased from on Ebay, providing the exact voltage, current, & power readings/calculations for the different lights I bought from each one of them. I did not ask for a refund, credit, or threaten anything, I just gave them the facts and asked 'Why less actual power than it's rated?' They did not have a clue about Ohms Law, made jokes, some excuses so lame they were borderline stupid. Questioned my word and facts. So I gave them no reviews. On that site, everybody passes or fails on the customer reviews. Oh, well.

Great auxiliary lights!
Mounted on a ‘21 Indian Challenger. It’s my daily driver and I didn’t want to fork out $300 to upgrade the headlight so I opted for this instead. Bright, straightforward wiring connection to an aux power box, easy installation. I wired the amber to my turn signals and left the white on keyed ignition running as DRL. Pros: clean, small, simple, easy. Wide variety of applications. Cons: short wires, about 8” long, required additional wiring connections. That’s always a potential failing point but easy to work with. I’d like it if the beam was more spread out but that is the product I purchased and somewhat depends on the mounting angle as well so I won’t take any points off, just something to be aware of.

Decent lights for the money!!
These lights are surprisingly bright, super clean and focused beam, seem to have a good build quality and really like the dual function in one pod, the only con I have so far is when you activate both white and yellow modes they both every so slightly dim so they aren’t as bright as either one individually, I’m not entirely sure if that is by design for heat management or not. We will see how they make it through the harsh northeast winters. Please check out the video !!

Very good lights for the money!!
I got these lights to use as off-road trail lights. They were easy to install and the lights are very bright. The pig tail wire was easy to splice into. I can't really give a fair assessment of condensation resistance yet, but so far I've had none at all. Overall, these lights are a bang for the buck!

Great quality
I used them as work lights on every side of my UTV. They are extremely bright! Great quality, I’ve had them in the rain and snow and they have not leaked.

works great!
worked really well on my 1986 pontiac fiero gt to help with the brights on the car, im able to see real good at night and was really easy to install with good length wiring, it has good hardware and and ive had them on my car for a bit now and they have lasted through rain and 500 miles of driving so far, its a really good investment for your money and the color looks good on blending them in with your vehicle.

First off, I ordered in friday and got it on tuesday! Amazing fast. Second, those lights are exactly as described. Water tight, super bright...ok, amber leds are a bit lower strength, whites are stronger, but it is expectable from picture. I had the same on my old vehicle and they lasted few years, no problems, then I sold it. Hope those are the same quality. Will get back with some pics after installing them.
