Trying this 1.5kg tub for the first time after usually having the 1kg regularly. It has a good size to it but more importantly the texture, the colour, the flavour, the consistency and the lack of oil separation are what makes this amazing. I have had meridian peanut butter that have had the same quality before but it is good to see that the first time I have tried this has left a good impression. It has a dark colour to it, which is indicative of the consistency and that everything has been blended properly. Also this is value for money because of the £9.99 price for 1.5kg, that's £6.66 for 1kg and I cannot find any meridian peanut butter at this price and weight! Will definitely be buying this regularly, thank you and keep up the consistent quality 👌

Had to say this lol - in a NUTSHELL ;) this is utterly THE BEST PEANUT BUTTER YOU CAN BUY HANDS DOWN. Meridian concentrate on the peanuts only. No added junk of ANY kind. Superb taste, excellent ground texture, great packaging. Such a high quality food product made by them clearly with great pride and attention to our happiness at heart. TOP MARKS!!

Love love love this peanut butter. One of a few brands that contains nothing but peanuts! Yes, the oil seperates but a good stir and its ready to use. Good value too for this massive tub!

I like the product, I Will buy again

I'd tried a few Meridian products now, including the cashew nut butter and crunchy peanut butter and I like them all, although personally I like to add a pinch of salt or use a salted butter when spreading on toast as the lack of seasoning (100% peanuts, not additives or flavourings) means it differs somewhat from your Skippy's or Sunpat which both use salt and sugar in their spreads. This smooth version is brilliant for a banana and peanut butter smoothie though, great flavour blends really well. On opening I did need to give it a good stir as there is some seperation of the natural oil produced when in transit, which does thicken the spread up a litlle bit too. Overall, I think its a really nice spread, great value and a small producer so well worth backing.
