S-Tier Filament (Amazing Filament at Competitive Price)
I pretty much never leave reviews, but after starting my 3D printing journey this year, I've tried multiple brands and feel like I have enough experience to leave a review. While I've had some awesome experiences with ELEGOO's Rapid PETG, and Creality's Hyper PLA, as far as a Rainbow gradient type filament goes, or Silk Rainbow Matte in this case, 3Dgenius brand is actually amazing. For being a lower price option at around $20 right now (around $10 cheaper than other brands in most cases) compared to other brands options for the same style (Rainbow Silk Matte PLA) this one was quite frankly amazing. With ELEGOO's PLA Pro I had to modify temp, speed, retraction, flow rate, almost everything just to get a decent print, and with other brands a few modifications were required similarly to achieve decent results. Now with this filament by 3DGenius, literally just changed the min/max temp range to 190-220, and every-single-print came out FLAWLESS. I am now buying my 2nd roll (1KG this time) and because of my experience, I thought I'd leave a review for someone else that might be trying to save a few bucks, but still wants to try out a new and cool looking filament, without worrying about sacrificing quality. This stuff is great. I wrote this review at like 1am so forgive my grammar, but hopefully my review has helped you make a decision. Try out the 500g roll for 10 bucks if you're still not sure. Its a great demo for their product. The photos I've shared are of an applewatch charger stand I printed from Printables. No sanding, no gloss, nothing additionally has been done to this print, that's literally straight off the build plate!

Beautiful matte rainbow filament!
LOVE the colors of this filament! They are vibrant and have a nice smooth gradient between them. The pink into green gets kind of muddy but I'm not sure if that's something that could be fixed with a different color order in the mfg process? The matte look of this with the bright rainbow colors looks so good. My prints are sturdy and don't feel like they are going to fall apart quickly. So far I've made a stand for our Nintendo Switch and a pencil cup for my desk. It help up well for the details in each print and I get tons of compliments on them!

Less Vibrant, still pretty.
Pretty but the colors are not as vibrant as advertised. Worked well in my a1 mini, specially on larger prints. Still happy. :)

Good buy!
Price was so cheap and I worried it would clog my nozzle. I'm on my 3rd print and love every one. Adhesion is good, no strings, and colors change fairly fast. Finish is shiny.

This filament binds and locks up mid print
I bought 2 colors of this and I've never had such an issue with a roll kinking and locking mid print. I'm not sure what it it's but this stuff really needs to be watched while you use it to make sure it finishes a project. It looks great and feels great, I've used tpu, pla, and abs in the past I've never really had anything lock up on me before, this stuff maybe 50% of the prints I did were trash, and late into the print aswell so very little of this color ever got to be used for anything.

Nice colors, but it's not a rainbow...
I really like the colors by themselves, but I also really don't have a choice because the color switches are so far apart that I'm not seeing any real rainbow patterns. I printed a little name plate for my daughter and it was mostly dark blue/gray. Then I printed the cup, which stands 4" tall. Today, I printed the crystal, which is 3" tall. To get a true rainbow print the way the product sample angel shows, it'll have to be at least 3 feet tall.So...it's quality filament and prints nicely...but I can't give the last two stars when it can't even give the effect I bought it for. Excuse me while I look for something 12" tall to print...
