Preliminary Review
My neighbor complained about rain water coming from my property and asked me to direct my gutter water to a spot where it will flow into the street. I dug a trench about 18" and put 4" PVC pipe. My neighbor's trees dump a lot of leaves on my roof, and I didn't want a clog in a pipe 18" under ground so I wanted to install a gutter guard. I went to Lowe's to check out what they had. I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of YouTube videos of professionals reviewing the available products. I settled on this. It's aluminum which, according to Frank Costanza, has a high strength to weight ratio. It screws in rather than just snapping in waiting to get blown away by the next heavy wind. And it doesn't tuck under the shingles thereby voiding the warranty from the new roof we just got. This is a preliminary review. The real test is going to be in October. I'll update this then. But there are a lot of things that can be said about this now. First is waterflow. I took one of these and held it under the faucet, and the water went straight through with a heavy flow. It will easily handle a heavy rainfall with no problem. Second, it's easy to install. It comes with screws AND a drill bit to fit the screws. You just install the gutter guards and then with a cordless drill. It's so easy it will make you feel like a master handyman. The only problem I had wit installation was the wasp nest that was already in the gutter. Yikes. Third is customer service. It's a small, family-owned, U.S. company. The product is made in the U.S. I think they're in New Jersey (got give 'em strength). I never had to call the customer service because they're so easy to install. They also have a feature whereby you can buy a sample piece for less than ten bucks to make sure they fit your gutter. These are being marketed to Harry Homeowner weekend warriors DIYers through Amazon. If you get the sample, they'll give you a coupon code for purchasing the product which is more than the cost of the sample piece so it's not ten buck down the drain. Follow Up: Well, the fall came and went. My neighbors' trees dumped a hundred pounds of leaves on my roof. But I didn't have a problem. They say that you still have to clean the leaves off the gutter guards, but I didn't have to. The leaves just fall right off. Not a single clog. Not a single problem. This is amazing. I mean, this is fantastic. Great product. By the way I only got it for the back of the house. I'm going to buy another 100 feet for the front now.

In My Estimation, This is an Excellent Product
I only qualify this with “in my estimation” because since installing these LeafTek gutter guards, they have not yet had the chance to perform their function. Though from my inspection of the product I have no reason to believe they will not when the time comes. They are very sturdy and seem to be produced to acceptable tolerances, consistent among themselves such that they came together quite easily when installing them. One thing I would deduct a couple of points for is that I was not provided with enough screws to follow the 5 screws/panel rubric as set forth in the instructions. I was only 2 short, but of course didn’t notice until I was nearing the installation of the last panel. I had 3 screws for the last panel so I was going to install what I had and just hope that was adequate. As I was installing the first screw into my final panel, a gust of wind blew the little baggie with the other 2 screws in it down and out into the alley behind my house. For as much as 3 might have been adequate, 1 was clearly not going to be. I climbed down off of my roof and went in search of the little baggie in my alley and was fortunate enough to find it. I climbed back up on my roof and finished installing the last panel. It has always been a puzzlement to me why companies that sell products that require some double or triple digit numbers of fasteners in order to assemble whatever the product is, don’t just as a standard practice throw in a single extra just for good measure. There have been times where I’ve dropped a screw down into a place where it couldn’t be retrieved, and it has happened with both scenarios, where I was supplied an extra, and when I wasn’t, and it made a world of difference in terms of the ease in which I completed them both. I gave this product 5 stars all the way, because I really do believe it is a quality product, and I was surprised at how well it fit onto my gutters and how easy it was to install. I’m just hoping the last of the panels truly is secure enough with only three screws.

Yew definitely worth your money, effort and time.
These perform higher than my expectations. I've tried the big box stores off the shelf gutter guards and they all were terrible. I did a lot of research into different gutter leaf guards, reviews, cost, installation instructions and techniques. These Leafetek gutter guards are a solid, legit, high performing gutter guard. I live I'm Chicagoland, installed these this past fall. Easy install once you dry-fit a few pieces in order to format a plan. Installing left to right or right to left made no difference to me. Some of my gutters, rather new ones, were not exactly even far as width. This challenged install by needing to maneuver and negotiate the gutter and guard to ensure fit prior to screwing guards in place. This was a fun and rewarding project. I installed on my house and separate 4 car garage. Far as performance... wow, no complaints. At all! Fall leaves, not a problem, did not collect, did not block. Bitter cold, snow and ice, yes a few icicles, less than prior to Leaftek gutter guards. Only a few. The design allowed melting to take place pretty quickly. No clogs or blockages. Spring downpours, and I mean heavy deluge of rain, not a problem. The Leaftek gutter guards kept up with demand, never overflowed, never was there more rain than these could handle. I am very impressed and super glad I ordered and installed them. I recommend angled aluminum cutting shears, cordless drill, tape measure, straight edge to ensure you are cutting correctly and a marker or similar for marking cut lines and corner points. I was intimidated by the measuring, cutting and screwing these to my gutters. After initial first few, it became pretty simple. A home DYIer can definitely install these on a single story home. Multiple stories I can not speak to installation, only to performance. I am very pleased. Wish I did this years ago.

Great gutter guards but please include more screws!
These gutter guards installed very easily, look great. and work well. The holes are small enough to keep all needles and tree crud out while letting all the water through. I would have given these 5 stars but there was only ONE small bag of screws, not three like the picture in the product description page shows. The included magnetic 1/4" inch nut driver works very well. I had to buy two boxes of Hillman Self-Piercing #7x1/2" white screws on Amazon to complete the job. So please LeafTek, include more screws!

Quality Product and Superior Customer Service
After reading varying reviews and evaluating samples from multiple manufactures, decided to purchase 300 feet of LeafTek leaf guards even though they were not the least expensive. Reasons being: (1) .019” material thickness, (2) all drain holes were punched thru unlike another manufacture’s sample that I purchased at a big box home improvement center, (3) securely fastens to fascia board instead of sliding underneath shingles providing additional strength to the leaf guards and gutter itself, (4) color matched stainless steel fasteners and ¼” magnetic hex driver were included and (5) samples included a 10% discount towards future (within 7 days) purchase of additional leaf guards which more than paid for the cost of the samples themselves. The Leaf guards came well packaged – doubled boxed with foam inserts on each end of inner box – resulting in no shipping damage. Installation was straight forward. Installed during the summer. Took 1-1/2 days to install 300 feet. However, ran short of fasteners. Called LeakTek’s customer service number but no one answered but left a message. Within 10 minutes a real human being called back and arrangements were made for additional fasteners at no cost. They arrived in 2 days. In this day and time, it’s a rarity to find this level of customer service. Installation tips: 1. It’s going to be hot but if starter row of shingles protrudes into the gutter, wait until midday on a sunny day to begin installation. The warm/hot shingles are much more pliable when lifting up to position and secure the back of the leaf guards to the fascia. 2. Use an 8” long ¼” magnetic hex driver for back fasteners to the fascia board especially if you have to lift shingles out of the way. This driver can also be used for the front fasteners to the gutter. There are several suppliers via internet search. 3. Use an awl to assist with alignment of the back of the leaf guard to the fascia board. 4. Install the 3 front fasteners to the gutter first. Have experienced several heavy rainfalls since installation was completed and no overflow has been observed as I walked around the house with my umbrella. The true test will be this fall when the leaves begin to fall. Thus far, completely satisfied and would recommend.
