Suave Hair Cream Barber Essentials Defining Cream for Men, Medium Hold and Low Shine, Long-Lasting Barber Quality Results, 1.75 oz

I use this cream as well as paste as my styling products. My hair is trimmed short on the sides (with a number 3 guard) and left longer on top; although not too long. I run both the cream and paste through my hair (separately not together) and then basically mess it up. It’s a good look for me and extremely easy to maintain. I was disappointed when Suave discontinued its Styling Paste as it worked well for me. So now I use Dove Styling Paste. It is a good product as well and I’m happy with it. I tried the styling cream from Dove and found it to be watery and difficult to apply. I much prefer the Suave cream which has a really nice consistency and is easy to work with. I have no issue with the scent of ANY styling products. Why this is so important to some guy’s is a mystery to me. Who really cares. This cream is a great value for the money. It washes out easily and maintains its shape throughout the entire day. If you’re looking for a very reasonably priced alternative to the higher priced creams I would suggest you give this product a try.

Only provides a medium, temporary hold. I was using the Suave with a stiffer hold and it was great. I'm certain this is also a very good product, just doesn't have the stiffer hold.

This is the least irritating hair cream I’ve found - others cause breakouts I’ve found. The scent is light, and the texture is good for my hair texture. The medium shine helps with my course hair texture.

I will not buy this product again. It’s is very fluid and nothing like the Suave Stying Paste which I really liked. Why mess with a good thing? This product belongs in a tube, not a plastic tub. But even so, I will not purchase again.

Trash. Very thin cream affords zero hold to hair. Don’t waste your money. One star because it smells ok.

I was looking for a cream with a lighter hold than I had been using and took a chance in this. I like this as it goes on light amd has a great hold without being heavy and sticky.
