This is a nice enough bison. The plastic feels good. Solid, nice texture, paint and detail. I think it's a little pricey for the size. Star off because I think the quality could be a little nicer for the size/price.

This detailed model of a buffalo...or is he a North American Bison?...has joined our little family of animal figures and he could not be happier. I say "he" because this dude is unmistakably a male, that's how realistic and detailed the figure is. He is a good size and weight to become the de facto patriarch of our little collection of buffalo and bison figurines. The fact that we are also Buffalo Bills fans in this house is a nice side benefit, but the animal's main purpose is as a companion for my 5 year old daughter. When she opened the package she exclaimed, "Daddy! It's a yak!" So perhaps he's a yak. I'm not one to argue. Either way this is a quality animal and we love him very much.

I have a small collection of bison figures so it was fun to add this guy to the crew. He's very realistic and painted nice.
