Miss Piggy's Guide to Life Hardcover – January 1, 1981

I got this book for my granddaughter because I didn't want to give mine up yet. I adore Ms. Piggy and so she now does too. I wasn't there for Christmas but heard that it was a total roar and everyone was laughing their heads off! It made quite an impression. The photo of her with a double scale with broccoli on one side and cream puffs on the other side is worth the price of the book! Get it and enjoy it; yes, it's dated, but it's still funny and timeless.

With astonishing variety, Beard really nails a Miss Piggy that we've lost with the retirement of Frank Oz—the sensitive but boorish, shallow but high-aspiring diva wannabe who is most at home being photographed in deliberate blemish-concealing soft focus like some 1940s starlet, but who also thinks that "kissy-kissy!" is romantic talk and has no qualms with combing through a hostesses' medicine cabinet at a party for gossip fodder. Absolutely saturated from beginning to end with hilarious photos and quips which never feel out of character.

This book was in great condition, just like described. Total bonus was the 1980’s newspaper it was wrapped in! I would definitely buy from this seller again.

It's a vintage gem of a book. Acting as a self help book with hilarious advice from our favorite Muppet. Romance, cooking, finances and other topics are covered. Obviously this book is just for fun and a great collectors item. All Hail The Queen Pig!

Book was in good condition, but there was no cover... which was one of my main reasons for the purchase.

What a great book. Virgie Tovar recommended it on her vlog and I found a decent copy for a very reasonable price.

If you are into the whimsy that IS Miss Piggy, this an entertaining read. It is easy to imagine that she is talking to you, pig to person. Full of advice, and nicely presented. Color photography, glossy paper. You will not feel like it is a waste of time or money.

Possibly best book ever written.
