For the price, you get three boxes of different sizes. Each is metal with a plastic lid that seals tightly. I put a basic PB&J sandwich in the smallest expecting to eat around noon. (The sandwich went in around 8:30 AM.) I didn't get to it until almost 4, and it was still fresh! That said, I really don't use them as lunch boxes that often. They actually work perfectly for me as leftover containers. The food stays fresh a bit longer and chills better with the metal box (as opposed to plastic ones). You have to pop the top off with a little handle, so you know they're sealed well. They clean easily, too. They've been really convenient, actually, and durable. I've been very pleased.

Steel Box is good but lid quality is very low.I have bought 2 months ago, before school has started. my kid goes to school only for 2 days a week,tiffin use is very less. lid got broken and printed letters (amazing bento) got vanished.I will not recommend to buy this product.I m attaching some photos of broken lid and vanish letters.

The less plastic, the better. So far, I have to go containers made out of either glass or plastic. This is is a first for steel. Glass is best but unfortunately it is heavy and breakable. So this is the next best thing.These containers are light. I was able to slices of a medium sized orange into the smallest container. To have the vacuum seal to work properly, I pushed down on the lid to hear the air escape from the little hole on top. I dropped it from my counter top twice to see if the lid would pop open. No leaks.

I’ve owned these Bento boxes for about a month and they’re really great. Mostly I use them to take lunch to work. They’re lightweight and stylish while being strong, functional, and easy to clean.The rectangular shape makes storage easy without wasting a lot of space in the fridge or desk drawer. Also, the lid ceils really well - meaning I can take a saucy tomato salad for lunch and not worry about spills or leakage. It’s summer right now, but in the fall I won’t hesitate to use these containers for soups and stews.They also work good to throw in a sandwich or leftovers, and some fruit or chips, and everything stays snug and together.You get 3 container sizes in the box, they’re just the right size for a large, medium, or small meal depending on your appetite and the number of people you’re feeding.In all, the bento boxes offer 3 big advantages over the glass Pyrex storage containers I was using previously: 1. The rectangular shape fits well in the fridge without wasting a lot of space. 2. The lid ceils tight and doesn’t leak, while also being easy to remove (unlike my old glass containers). 3. They look great and you don’t have to worry about breaking them.Highly recommend.

Ordered two sets of these to replace plastic Bentos. Trying to cut down on plastic in our lives as much as possible. Love the sizes of these boxes. Perfect for full size sandwiches and treats in lunch boxes. Very light weight and dishwasher safe (key for this busy mom). The lids are very tightly sealed and no leaking problems. They are a little difficult to get off, but my kids are tweens and teens so they don't have any issues at all! We will be ordering more!

Really, the price is key for me - I've paid more for a single lunchbox, and this set has 3! If you're packing Japanese style bentos, with dense foods, even the smallest box can make a reasonable lunch for an adult, but you'll probably prefer one of the bigger ones if you have a bigger appetite. The lids seal really well, and there were no leaks when we packed them for lunch.

This lunch boxes is perfect for any kind of food. It holds the perfect amount for lunch. Dishwasher friendly. Would easily buy it again.

I ordered for my son’s lunches for school. All 3 containers fit in his lunch box if necessary but they I’ve found I’ve only needed to use 2 because they hold so much food!! The kids are easy for him to get on and off and we haven’t had an issue with anything leaking. These are great for his lunches and we look forward to many more uses!!
