Lotus Rain Chain

We had part of our gutter come down in the front yard last year and it was so damaged that we ended up cutting it off. Ever since, we’ve had this torrential waterfall situation right by our front door. I installed the rain chain hoping to redirect the water flow away from the walkway and it works like a charm! I love the noise it makes when the water trickles down. Super cute, a great value and such an easy fix to our problem! I installed the top by screwing two long exterior screws and mounting the triangular piece to the wood. Different than if you have an actual gutter to attach to, but still works great! Had to buy the bowl separately.

I love these rain chains so much i kept buying them...i am up to 4 now. Ive posted videos and pics below. They are both pretty and function and super easy to install...i have 1 installed with a water adapter (sealed with gutter epoxy) in the gutter and 2 installed straight out of the box, with the bracket that comes with it, hanging from the gutter hole. The adapter for the gutter is great for areas with a heavy flow of water. For less steep roof incline installs you could get away without the gutter adapter just fine. They are linkable so you can take away or add onto to make it as long or short as needed. They are light wait and make for a beautiful decoration and sound when rain is falling. I have no complaints, even a heavy down pore isnt a match for it, floods with water and still holds up just fine as long as you anchor the bottom down with some garden change and a stake...super cheap or buy the basin. I bought to basins for the ones on my back deck area and drilled holes in the bottom then fed a line down into the old gutter hole in the deck for drainage purposes (see last pic) works like a charm.

I added three of these lovely rain chains to gutters that lacked downspouts on the front of my house, along with the matching bowls. They went up easily and were quite attractive. Then the rain arrived and it poured! The whole family went outside to watch what happened! They directed the water into the bowls perfectly, and we were mesmerized by gentle beauty of the water coursing through the tulip-shaped cups on the chains. I empty the bowls when the rain stops (to prevent mosquito larvae) by tipping the bowls to water the garden. An occasion wipe with a rag prevents slime from forming. All my friends want them!

These rain chains are high quality aluminum and look great on the house. The only downside is they overflow and splash with medium to heavy rains (all rain chains do this though). If they could make the top cups a little larger and have them decrease in diameter it would eliminate a lot of the splashing (I think). Really makes a statement and much nicer than a standard ugly downspout!

I love this rain chain. I have it attached to my gutter and rain barrel. I did shorten it slightly so there wouldn't be any slack. There's some splashing but that doesn't bother me.

The Lotus rain chains from Monarch have been a wonderful solution to all our gutters. We live in a neighborhood with a ton of trees and the old traditional gutters/downspouts were always getting clogged. I've now put these rain chains on both 1-story and 2-story parts of our house and they work great. The only downside is if there's a huge downpour, they can't handle the volume and the water splashes out. They're easy to install with the wire that comes with the kit (fit the wire into existing hole from old downspout), and easy to add to chains together (needed 2 sets for our 2-story side of house). I do still have to get on the roof during Fall and clear the leaves from the 2nd floor lotus chains on occasion, but not nearly as hard to deal with as the old downspouts.

These are worth the money. So beautiful and sturdy. Have had for over 2years and still look beautiful. Makes my house entrance look so modern and pretty

Ich habe extra was gesucht, was nicht spritzt und vergleichsweise viel Wasser aushält. Bei viel Regen völlig überfordert und spritzen tut es auch immer. Wenigstens sieht es halbwegs gut aus und hält seit ca. 2 Monaten

Easy To install, very effective

Love this product. Looks wonderful and receive many compliments on it. Heads up the anchor for it needs to be purchased separately. We anchored in our own way and added a rock in the bottom cup.
