Excellent upgrade from a noisy fan – smooth, silent & powerful airflow (1-week review)
I am writing this review after using the Havells FAB BLDC Pro for one full week. Before buying this fan, I had purchased a regular (non-BLDC) Crompton ceiling fan. Right after installation, I realized it was a mistake. The issue wasn’t just airflow noise — the motor itself produced a constant humming sound, which was clearly noticeable even at speed 1 or 2. At speed 3 and above, the sound became extremely annoying and disturbing. Because of this, I went back to Amazon, researched BLDC fans, and finally ordered this Havells FAB BLDC Pro (got it for around ₹2600). Installation service was available on Amazon, but I chose a local electrician who charged ₹200 for uninstalling the old fan and installing this one — totally worth it. Build, design & looks For the price, the fan looks very elegant and premium. I genuinely enjoy how it looks on the ceiling. The finish is neat, and the overall design feels modern without being flashy. Noise performance (most important point) I had read very mixed reviews about noise and airflow before buying — some people said it’s very quiet, others complained about noise. Based on my one-week usage: Speed 1–3: Very smooth and quiet Speed 4–5: You will hear air movement (which is natural), but there is absolutely no motor noise No humming, no vibration, no “cut-cut” or irregular sound I even measured the sound using a Sound Meter Android app: This fan: ~67 dB Old regular fan: ~75 dB (and much more irritating due to humming) The difference is very noticeable. Decibels aside, the quality and consistency of sound matters, and this BLDC fan sounds clean and stable. Airflow (pleasantly surprised) Airflow is very good and better than my previous regular fan. Even at mid speeds, the air throw feels strong and well-distributed across the room. You don’t need to run it at full speed all the time, which also helps keep the room quieter. At higher speeds, airflow is powerful, and the only sound you hear is of moving air — not the motor. Remote control I had seen complaints about the remote, but I don’t agree with them. Remote feels solid Button clicks are tactile with a clear click sound Battery is included Response is accurate and reliable No issues so far. Final verdict (for now) I was initially unsure whether spending extra on a BLDC fan was worth it compared to regular fans. Based on one week of usage, this fan feels like a good and sensible upgrade, especially if you are sensitive to noise and still want strong airflow. Even some higher-end fans priced ₹3500–₹4000 have noise complaints. At this price point, Havells FAB BLDC Pro is performing well so far. I am satisfied till now, but the fan is still under observation. I plan to revisit and update this review after 2 months of usage to comment on long-term performance and reliability.

Worth of money
The 4 modes (Boost, Sleep, Breeze, Mop) are very useful—Boost cools the room quickly, while Sleep mode is perfect for night use. The reverse rotation feature is a great addition for year-round comfort. Installation was smooth, and the build quality feels solid. Overall, with its performance, low noise, energy savings (up to 65%), and 3-year warranty, this fan offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

Terrible Havells fan—loud rattling, obvious manufacturing defect. Premium price for zero quality.
This is hands down one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. Havells is selling fans without any quality check whatsoever. The fan makes loud rattling and grinding noises as if it’s about to fall apart. This is not a minor defect — it’s a clear manufacturing failure that should have been caught before selling. It’s shocking that a brand like Havells would release such a defective product into the market. Either there is no quality control, or they simply don’t care about customer experience anymore. Paying a premium price for this level of negligence is insulting. This fan has turned my room into a noise zone instead of providing comfort. Complete waste of money. Avoid Havells fans unless you enjoy constant noise and poor workmanship.

Total worth it in the price of Rs. 2600/-
The Brown version had a discounted price and I bought it for 2600/- which made this fan total worth it. Almost nil noise and better performance.
