I recently got a dog and wanted to save money on his grooming, so I decided to instead invest in some hair cutting shears. He is a poodle, so I know that over time, I would save more money grooming myself.I bought this set of hair cutting scissor, clips, thinning shear, and comb. This kit came in a nice zip up case, the scissors are sharp and have a nice feel to them, the clips and comb are a nice addition for when I cut my daughter's hair. I've never had to use professional hair cutting scissors, so cannot compare, but I feel that this set does the job just fine, without breaking the bank.

I've used these scissors to cut my own hair twice now and they work great! The regular scissors are very sharp and cut my hair ease. The feathering scissors are amazing too, they thin my thick hair out nicely. Definitely watch a youtube video before you start hacking away though. There are right and wrong ways when it comes to feathering your hair.. I don't use the extra pins or comb that come with it, but it's nice that they've included them in the kit. The case is also a bonus, it's nice and compact, easy to store away in a drawer

I have to say I was impressed with this set of shears. I'm a master cosmetologist although I no longer cut hair. I do like to keep a pair of shears though ,because there's always that close friend or family member thats begging for just a quick cut. 😫 Lol. My other shears had gotten so dull and I really just wanted a new pair without spending a lot of money since they're for "just in case lol." ( I could have had them sharpened , but who doesn't love NEW things hehe) These shears glide so smoothly when cutting, it's effortless. I did have to tighten them ,but that’s personal preference. Definitely worth the money. Glad I didn't spend 100s of dollars on a new pair like I almost did!

First off, I do NOT know how to cut hair, AT ALL. But I was sick of paying $70 plus tip each time to get my twins' hair cut every few weeks because it grows like out of control weeds. I finally got brave and bought this kit based on reviews and price. I can say with confidence that the texturizing scissors alone have saved me $140+ already because I have cut the boys hair twice since I bought them. I am very conservative and careful when I cut because I am still getting used to the scissors and it takes a little getting used to and finding a technique (I don't want them to look like a Flow-bee got a hold of them...) but each time, I am just shocked that my kids' hair comes out looking so good! I could not be happier with this purchase. Caveat: be careful while using, they are VERY SHARP and I have almost cut my fingers a few times even while being super careful.

I’m always doing DIY hair cutting for both my hubby and my daughter. Especially my hubby, his hair is thicker than normal. So I was always having problem of getting his hair thinning without cutting them shorter. Finally, after having this hair cutting set, I can achieve what I want. This is really professional hair cutting set. I like the scissor with the comb especially. It also comes with a comb and a bag which help me keep things neat and organized.

I bought these to cut my 1 year old’s hair. They work very well! They are good quality, have a smooth motion and are sharp. I gave it a 4 star only because my knuckles were a tight fit in the holes and I had several moments of thinking, “okay I’ll have to get the oil or soap out to get these off.” But they did come off! Overall, they are good quality. Glad I bought them!

I ordered these awhile ago. I am not sure why. But I never used them. The times that we are in now means I can't go to my stylist. So I decided to cut my own hair.It is not recommended to cut your own hair with these, because they are SO sharp that I barely touched my pinky finger and started gushing blood. I ended up with three cuts, and then finally convinced my husband to take over the rest of the cut.These are good scissors, but not if you are not used to using scissors to cut your own hair and are sloppy with finger placement.
