A Daily Splurge
I'm sold on this product, not liking anything too creamy/heavy/clogging. It's a light lotion that nourishes the neck and face. As a daily basic moisturizer prior to any make-up, I find this lotion beneficial and ideal.

I like it 😊
A little goes a long way, I use it on my face before I moisturize and so far it's good

GREAT for those of us who struggle with breakouts while using traditional lotions
I've been using this for about two months now, and it honestly took some time to get used to. The label of "lotion" always brings a white/ivory creamy substance to mind. Something that can be greasy or heavy, or could be whipped and light. This is totally different. I'd say it's more like a serum--but instead of a couple of drops of serum, you use the same amount as you would a lotion. The first feel is like a cool serum/toner. It's hard not to keep rubbing it in, because it doesn't just absorb quickly like a lotion. It sort of sits there for a minute before starting to dry. Be patient--and once it's on there for a minute, then rub it in lightly. It is quite refreshing!I have used this without serum, and without lotion. I have used it with both and either. I almost always follow it up with my tinted sunscreen. Once it is absorbed, it doesn't affect any or all of the above.I can say that my face hasn't broken out ONCE since using this product. I don't think it clogs my pores like other typical lotions. I don't see any difference in wrinkles (bummer, but I don't have many so that may be a factor) or sun spots (those are tricky and nothing seems to help). I have not noticed any skin improvement on my neck. That said, my skin hasn't gotten dryer--and in fact, looks healthier overall. I have health issues which prevent my skin (or anything) from healing in a hurry, so dry skin can be a nightmare situation for me, causing bleeding and breakouts. So this has been great in protecting me from dry skin.I do recommend this for sensitive skin--someone who may be susceptible to breakouts with the creamy lotions. I wish I had known about this when I was in my early 20s when I struggled with breakouts whenever I used any sort of lotion.

Gives My Aging Face A Tighter, Toned Look
Surprisingly, I like this lift essence lotion more than I thought I would. My 64 year old skin is dry—I was afraid applying a jelly-like lotion would only make it drier. Upon application, the gel is initially sticky but quickly dries soft to the touch. When using firmarine as a first step after cleansing, I’ve discovered that less moisturizer or serum is needed following that step, particularly if an oil-based moisturizer is applied. I like the way foundation goes over both—very smoothly.Usually I have a hard time seeing end results with products like these, but I visibly see tighter, better-looking skin immediately after application, and my face remains that way pretty much throughout the day. Repeated use does not dry out skin either—rather, my skin has never looked better. Many facial products cause mine to break out, but this one does not.Directions say to use this lotion morning and night. As much as I want to, its cost prevents me from using it on a daily basis. I apply it only when an instant boost is needed to look my best.

Retains skin's moisture
The Erno Laszio brand is new to me, and this Firmarine Lift Essence Lotion is a pleasant introduction to the brand. Its scent is light and not unpleasant. The feel of the lotion is somewhere between aloe vera gel and water, and a small amount (dime size) is a good place to start when applying it to your face.I found the lotion was quickly absorbed by my 50-year-old skin which tends to be a bit dry all over. The lotion created a moisture barrier underneath my makeup which seemed to help to create a lasting look for the day. The lotion did not leave an unpleasant film, but you can definitely tell that it seems to ride on top of the skin as well as being somewhat absorbed by it. I noticed no skin irritation when using this product, but did find it had a mild cooling effect when first put on my skin. This product promises a lot and most of it can only be tested with continued use. I will update this review after I've been using it a while to comment on the 'firming' aspects of this lotion.I would suggest using this product on your face right after washing your face. Even better, right out of the shower when your skin has been steamed a bit to open up your pores. I think if used this way on a consistent basis, positive results can be achieved using this product.

Hydrates beautifully. A bit pricey
LotionI’m about to turn 70 and I take daily doses of prednisone—both factors induce extreme dryness so anything that offers moisturizing will definitely catch my eye. This product feels a little odd. When you first squirt a bit onto your palm, you see this lovely ice-blue gel that is unscented and cool. What I like about it is that it really is like a drink of water for your skin, it does seem to soak in and stay in. It sort of acts like a base: you apply this, wait for it to soak in (which, in my case, is almost instantaneous), then proceed with whatever cream or serum you normally would use and build up from there. What I don’t like is that it is really difficult to apply because although, initially, it looks like a gel it acts like a liquid. Although you can apply a bit with your fingertips; you basically end up rubbing your palms on your face and neck which is a pretty graceless and clumsy way to apply something. At this price, you certainly aren’t going to waste a drop by applying it with a sponge or cotton round!Positive: It does hydrate. Really, it does. I’m not sure how it does it, but my skin drinks it up.Negatives: The price is pretty steep; it is difficult to apply.Other: I haven’t noticed any “plumping” or “firming” that is different from the effect I would get from using the other creams and serums without this.
