The cat loves this box. He is in it often during the day and can be heard scratching and playing in the box. Sometimes he sleeps in too, foregoing his very comfortable bed and blanket. This was such a hit that I purchased a second one for our country house, so i didn’t have to carry the one from the apartment each trip.

I bought my first one 15 years ago an still have it. Just buy replacement mats periodically. I've had LOTS of indoor cats, and this is by far THE BEST way to give them what they need and want...a safe place to scratch and play. With almost no training, they go right to the lounge. Now I have 2 cats, so I bought a second lounge so both can enjoy. Somewhere out there on YOuTube there is a video of a tiger using one in a cat sanctuary. It is so cool!!!

I bought two of these, one for each cat. They love the scratch beds. When I first put them out, each cat jumped into one and began to scratch at it, then stayed in it because it was cozy with the high sides. Even though they have used them a lot the hard cardboard has really held up, not like other scratch boards that crumble right away. I'm really glad at that because one cat would eat the little bits of paper torn off so I'd have to throw out the board right away. Not this one. It's strong and durable.

My cats love this scratcher. Not only do they use it for scratching, but they lay in it and sleep in it. I like that it's reversible because it extends the life of the product, which is very sturdy to begin with. This is a repeat purchase for me because it's the best scratcher out there and worth it's price.

These are well loved in our kitty household! We have two large guys and two of these boxes. They scratch and sleep in them everyday!
