Decent product.
I could have done without the additional vitamin B in this, but otherwise it worked as well as the other similar supplements I have taken.

I found it to be beneficial for me
I’ve been very pleased with this supplement, the main benefit I was seeking is a better night sleep and it definitely helped me.

Two thumbs up!
This is awesome stuff and I highly recommend it. The NAC alone is why I take it, as it’s a really solid supp. for general immunity. I remember when NAC products were disallowed on this platform, but thankfully that changed and now you can access quality stuff like this. Effectiveness is great, in my personal experience. I could sit here and give you anecdotal evidence or anecdotal information about this product, but ultimately it all comes down to how well your body tolerates supplements like this. It made me slightly nauseous the first couple times, but it didn’t dissuade me from taking it, and it went away. The secret, in my experience, is to take it with an adequate amount of water. Too little and it messes with your stomach, so just giving you a heads up. The dose is also the perfect amount per serving, so I’m really satisfied with the fact that they nailed that. Aside from that minor stomach issue, it is a great value and it’s a quality product. Even the bottle has a nice feel to it. Highly recommend, 5/5 on this one.

good quality NAC
I take NAC (among other supplements) at the recommendation of my doctor, who is helping me with long-covid brain fog. This NAC formula is supplemented with Vitamin B2 and selenium for improved conversion of glutathione. The capsules come in a dark amber glass bottle to keep it from degradation in sunlight and help maintain purity and efficacy. This product is made in the USA, manufactured with cGMP specs, and tested for purity and potency. The capsules are easy enough to swallow, and they don’t give me any aftertaste or stomach upset. I am happy with the quality of this product. My only issue is that I need to take 3 capsules per serving, which just adds to the total number of capsules I take daily with all the supplements I take.

We Are All Rusting On The Inside
Not only are we all rusting on the inside and that can make it difficult to sleep. There is a significant body of work that supports the use of glycine, by itself, to help produce better quality and more efficient sleep. Glutathione is the body's premier non-enzymatic antioxidant and anything that can be done to increase the amount glutathione is going to have fantastic effects. The problem is that dietary cysteine is the rate limiting substrate for the synthesis of glutathione. Glycine, is used to make gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) and can become rate limiting for the synthesis of glutathione simply because it is being used elsewhere. Thus, a person can have a significant oxidative burden and find themselves having a hard time sleeping. When coupled with the widespread deficient magnesium intake, it really should be no surprise that so many people have trouble sleeping. If one might consider that there are different sorts of the conditions generally termed depression, a person might imagine a situation wherein oxidative stress is such as to result in problems with the energy budget of neurons. The intersection between inflammation and oxidative stress is not as well studied as the individual areas, however, one can postulate that inflammation at the tissue level can produce oxidative stress at the cellular level resulting in significant dysfunction of the organ in question. Moreover, it is not merely the brain that encounters these challenges when oxidative stress is elevated. For instance, the cells of the proximal tubule in the kidney have one of the highest metabolic rates in the body and even minor changes in oxidative stress can have significant effects on these cells. The result can be, among other things, significant electrolyte imbalances when there are a sufficient number of dysfunctional cells. The effects of problems in the kidney feedback to the heart and the circulatory system and one can see hypertension develop from this sort of situation. While there is much more to it than this paragraph filled with a lot of woven strings and generalizations, the problems of unchecked oxidative stress are well documented. There are more mechanisms to control the production of glutathione than there are to increase it and one of the few ways to increase the base amount of glutathione is to consume more cysteine, ideally, in the form of N-acetyl-cysteine. This supplement provides a person with three grams per day of both, N-acetyl cysteine and glycine. One might also supplement glutamine such that the production of glutathione can be driven forward directly. That is to say that a spike in the availability of these amino acids would occur at the same time and drive the production of glutathione rather than find some way to deamination or decarboxylation --ironically, consumption of glutamic acid, which does not cross the blood brain barrier, may yield an increase in GABA production and shunt glycine to glutathione production. In any case, the point is that there are a lot of ways in which the production of glutathione --a critical antioxidant-- can be hindered by the need for an amino acid elsewhere and glutathione is far more critical than it is often given credit because what presents as inflammation at the tissue level results from or causes oxidative stress at the cellular level and depression is directly associated with inflammation. Thus, driving glutathione production forward has a multitude of benefits, including the use of local body stores to produce more glutathione than would otherwise be the case. Yes, you can purchase glutathione and consume it and have part of the desired effect in that the glutathione in question will reduce overall body oxidative stress. However, that effort does not preclude the driving the production of local glutathione up throughout the body which has distinct benefits at the cellular level and therefore, at the tissue level where inflammation is such a problem. This supplement is a tool, not a simplistic solution. This is a particularly well formulated tool to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation throughout the body that CAN help you sleep better and awaken more refreshed and, hopefully, a little healthier and less inflamed than you were yesterday. It certainly has helped me sleep better. Note that one gram or even three grams of glycine, when consumed throughout the day, is not enough to put a person to sleep all by itself. However, over time, this supplement can be of significant help.

Wow, these are big.
I got these because NAC is supposedly a way for your body to create glutathione, which is a master antioxidant. I'm on a health kick and wanted to detoxify as much as possible, so "master antioxidant" seemed a good bet. I'll start by saying these capsules are monga huge. I am not a person who has trouble taking large pills but these ones push that envelope. And having to take 3 per day is a lot. So this is just a one-month supply, and at ~25 bucks it seems to be an average value at this price point. I have only been taking them a couple of days and have noticed absolutely nothing but I know that supplements take time to make a difference. So I'll rate these okay, and update if there are major improvements in my life or severe negative impacts.
