The books themselves are fantastic—well-written, engaging, and full of insights that kept my son hooked from start to finish. It’s definitely worth reading and I highly recommend it for the content. However, the cover quality could be better. The material feels a bit flimsy and doesn’t match the excellence of the writing inside. With a sturdier cover, this would easily be a five-star purchase

These books made my daughter fall in love with stories and reading. She’s 8 and my son is 10 and both rate them as their favourite books. We read them aloud together as a family whilst moving house / schools and they were the most wonderful distraction. Lots of adventure and hooks to keep you engaged, the kids always begged for me to carry on reading if I had to stop. Lots of overcoming adversity. We loved all the characters and have gone on to get the Tale of Magic series and the other spin off books. Cannot recommend this series enough. Thank you Chris Colfer, they were absolutely magical!

Arrived on time, good quality product at reasonable price. Am looking forward to reading this series.

Read Septimus Heap and Magic Thief Series, so if you liked them, then these are probably for you too. For younger readers? Of course. But I'm into my 40's and is still a cracking read. Thank you Mr Colfer - don't be put off by the glee connection if it wasn't your cup of tea - the guy is an epic author!
