Q: does it come with power cord ?

When I have a power cord plugged in it says it is not the proper cord yet it is the one it came with and it fits into GPS. Does not charge GPS.

Q: Does the rv 770 model take a sdhd card?

Takes a micro SD card, not included.

Q: how do you update the liftime maps ?

I have the 760, but updating between the two should be consistent. Mine connects directly to the internet via WiFi at my house and updates both maps and software via WiFi based on the user's Ok to do so.

Q: Need garmin for Canada

We traveled through Canada this past summer and had no problem. Garmin's worked great. Hopefully this helps, Merry Christmas.
