Got it so my boyfriend would learn the language.Very good book, explains the language in detail at the same time it makes it easy to understand.A study routine is required though.

It works well as a gift but if you want to learn the La gauge I thought it a bit weak

Brilliant book but the original comes with a CD of which no benefit is found with the Kindle, despite the possibilities of such a thing and also only being like two quid cheaper electronically. Oh well. Who needs to hear a language to get it?

This book is really good value for your money. It offers extensive grammar lessons, with exercise, plus a cd that helps you practicing pronunciation in brazilian portuguese. It is written in a friendly manner and takes you step by step towards a better grasp of brazilian portuguese every day. Heavily recommended!
