I was looking for a comfortable casual dress shirt for work to replace the polos I had worn for years. I saw the price point on these and the reviews were pretty good so I thought I would give it a shot. I was expecting quality to be just good enough to get by for what I paid. I have IZOD, Polo, and Van Heusen dress shirts and I was not aiming for that, but I was surprised when open the package. The material is great, soft, a lot better than I expected. The button's are threaded nicely and not loose, tight to the material. And you can wash and wear these without an iron. The fit is dead on... absolutely what I was looking for in a shirt that I did not want to have to tuck all the time. Not boxy, shirt tale is close to the pant pockets and not to long. The slim fit XL is perfect for my frame, 5-11 200 lbs with broad shoulders and a 37" waist. I highly recommend this shirt to those who would like to alternate a casual dress shirt with your polo for work or out to dinner with friends and not have to pay $80 dollars for it. The shirt breaths very well too for warmer climates.

My husband had a similar shirt to this from BR, but it got caught on a door handle in our last home and had to be pitched. I saw this one, and was looking for slim fit, as other shirts are too poofy.He is almost 6' and has a long torso, so shirts can be tricky.This fit the bill, perfectly. Doesn't pull, he wore it to work with no problems. Next test will be to see how it works when he bikes to work (see if it tears at the shoulders) I don't believe it will...it looks very nice!Also the seams are well sewn and the plaids on the button area match up nicely! Great value.

If your looking for a general purpose all around shirt, this one fits the bill, its light weight comfortable and perfect for wearing down to the grocery store, hardware store or even on a relaxing night out, these shirts come in many different colors and are great for wearing when your just looking for a clean relaxed look.

This was a little baggier around the stomach than I was expecting given the pictures, but I do have a pretty narrow stomach. But otherwise fits well and looks ok.However, the material is not a soft cotton. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like a stiff sheet that might be on the bed of a cheap hotel. Like, if I scrunch it up into a ball, it doesn't just scrunch quietly; it sounds and feels a little like the material on a light rain jacket or poncho.

I was buying Goodthreads because their shirts fit well around the middle (I order medium-tall) and wash up well. I am 6'1" and 176 pounds. I decided to try the amazon shirt. I've been very impressed with the fit and wash-ability. It comes out of the dryer almost wrinkle free. The length is about 6 inches below my waist. The price is a no brainer as it is almost half the cost of the Goodthreads shirt. I ordered 3 more.

This is a nice shirt and I really like it, my only complaint is it seems very susceptible to cigarette burnholes. I dropped a little ash cherry on it and it burnt a hole before I could brush it off. I can't really knock it much for that, but it's something to be aware of I suppose.I'll be buying more in different colors.
