Great Product
It works well, provides clean audio to my DSLR, and works great with multiple mics. This is a great tool for the independent filmmaker who is often the only person on the set to film

I was in a bad situation in that i had little time to futz ...
I never got this thing to work. I was in a bad situation in that i had little time to futz with it. I received it on vacation, tried it unsuccessfully, then had to travel home, return to work, busy but tried different variations of microphones, again unsuccessfully. There are a dozen switches on the bottom, maybe some were set wrong. Very complicated little booger. It was just too expensive to take a risk on figuring out the issue.I should add that i was using an unpowered simple lapel mike, 1/8" phone to 1/4" phone to XLR adapter (RadioShack stuff) to a Canon Rebel T3i and a T5i. The Riggy Assist is designed for powered mikes, which i expected to need later, so this may be the issue. A second possibility is that the provided phone to phone jumper between the Juicedlink preamp and camera might have been the wrong configuration. Who knows what Canon requires. So i would not totally blame the device, except for the high cost. I was trying to avoid collecting audio with a separate device then needing to do post production combining video and audio. I am a teacher and this is too much trouble for normal classroom use. I will have to live with lousy sound i guess.Maybe i will try again on the next generation, and have more time.

Works Great would have given 4 stars but just too many nit-picky things
Only reason I gave it 4 stars is they ask you to go to website for small manual. Really? for $500 you couldn't print the page.Much more techy and options than my Beachtek DXA-SLR PRO but the mounting is a disappointment (hex wrench) Cork instead of rubber. Battery compartment is so tight under camera, need to use screw driver to release and open.

Finally hear my shotgun mic
Bought the Rode NTG-2 with my Zoom H4n and heard many others talk about how this could solve my problems and keep my "floor" low. This works perfectly and so much so that I no longer Lav up in the studio. Only draw back is the 9V battery that it needs that runs down pretty fast and theres also no way to directly plug this into the wall (ie. power cable to wall). Would definitely recommend to anyone though I do wish the cost was lower as it does seem a bit high at $450+

JuicedLink and Lumix GH cameras, a marriage made in heaven.
Love this mixer. It's May 2017 and I'm still using it. It makes recording great audio on my GH3 easy and and enjoyable.
