6mm Shank Stainless Steel Plum Blossom Thimble Drill Bit Dead Center for Mini Lathe Machine

The first thing you'll notice is that unlike the photo it doesn't seem to be the same price your sent and seems to be made out of a different material. If there is rust then it isnt stainless steel and from my experience stainless steel isnt dark unless there is a coating I have yet to see. I wouldn't imagine it's been blued as stainless is strong and rust free hence why it's used in the food industry. (Fabricator welder of 12 years). But that aside it works well, sharp right out the packet grips wood well and any catches on my bead lathe and the chuck span around the shank rather than ripping chunks out the wood. I have a bead lathe that I recently reviewed with a .6 to 6.6 cm chuck and this worked great. I would imagine the long delivery time could be down to machining on demand or it just takes a long time to get from the manufacturer. Either way a good peice for smaller lathes.
