I have naturally thick, dark black hair at medium length, currently not long enough to make a natural bun. I purchased this bun clip for my look as part of a history re-enactor at a Museum I volunteer at, so that I can have a simple 1890s look without much fuss. I got the darkest black, and it's a perfect match for my color. The comb-style clip is easy to attach to my short ponytail, and I twist my pony tail hair up tightly so that it all fits inside the hollow dome of the hair piece. The gap between my head and the edge of the hair piece is there, but it's not very noticeable and can easily be covered with a decoration, ribbon, fake braid, etc. I use a hat for my look, so I wear the bun very low at the back of my neck. It's very convenient to put in and adjust if necessary. No need for hair spray, bobby pins, or anything! When not in use, I keep this piece in the original plastic container it shipped in, and plan to use it for years. I have dropped it a few times on a dusty floor, very easy to shake off dirt or spray with water to clean, then just readjust the fibers with my hands so that it looks back to original. Honestly, a time saver and very easy to use over and over again.

This is an elegant and wonderful piece with a cup and comb.

Not great for thicker hair. It has a dome clip and your hair is tucked into the dome. Dome is not very large or high. Hair on the clip is thin and if you have colored hair you may see it. Ordered Natural Black (not natural black) it was more like dyed Black Black. I have never colored my hair and it is dark but not Black/Black. This product broke after 1 use. I have thin hair. Broke while I was wearing it to a wedding. WORSE PRODUCT EVER

I bought this for a theater performance because hair really does not like staying in a bun. It's working well for me under two conditions: 1. I have to clip it from the top down so it doesn't pull on my hair, and 2. I only put 3/4 of my hair into the pony it covers and pin back the rest separately. The clip/dome is not big enough to fit all of my hair (which is collarbone length). I'm also using flowers to cover the exposed clip at the top. The clip itself is close enough to my hair color to blend in, but the gold wire is not. If only that could be brown too! I also wish there were more hair colors available (my hair is lighter than the brown shade offered), but I'm making do. My package arrived with no problems and everything intact. We'll see how long it lasts!

Love this hairpiece! So easy to put on. So secure. Stays intact until you decide to take it off. Does not pull on my hair. It is very light weight. Blends with my natural black hair color perfectly! Thank you Hanne for coming up with such a beautiful hair piece. Hope you invent other bun styles that work the same way.

Silly clip is too bulky to make this hairpiece practical to wear.

This bun is amazing and works perfectly for thin hair. I was able to achieve a beautiful, sleek bun hairstyle with the help of this clip in bun on one of my clients! Looks greats and highly recommended.

Total garbage, I feels so insult right now I cannot believe my eyes. Now I have to throw it aways so disappointed. Will never ever order here again.

It’s ok but too small and could be more hair on it, I think the price is a bit to high for the quality.
