Best cool weather shoe ever.
Love, love, love my Keen Presidio's. This is my second pair (the first one has lasted four years and is still functional - just not very pretty anymore :) and while I'm disappointed that they discontinued their original black version (not really into the pebbled leather that this one sports), they are my go-to shoe until I can transition to sandals for the summer.Pros: wide toe-bed; waterproof, warm in cold weather but not overly hot for the rest of the year; fantastic cut and support and comfortable right out of the box. I wear these shoes for hours and hours. They hold up well to abuse, and will still be waterproof, supportive and intact when you have worn out the removable footbed. A new footbed/insole will give you another year or two's wear before you need to consider a replacement.I find these to run a little large - I wear a half-size down in the Presidios.

Comfy rain friendly shoes
I wore my last pair of Keene Presidio shoes until they fell apart. I walked to and from work 1/2 mile four times a day for nine years until the side of one shoe separated from the rubber and started to let moisture in when it rained. I was so happy with the comfort and durability of the shoe that I replaced it with the same shoe. Black is best for me as it stands out less as a walking show when worn with a suit or dress clothes. The front of the shoe is wide so I wear thick wool socks. This shoe keeps my feet warm and dry year round. I wear them in all weather including light snow.

Terrific walking shoes with lots of toe room
These walking shoes, Presidio by Keen, are my favorite. They are great for long walks with the ample space for toes to move around, keeping my feet from overheating. The support is just right, though I add orthotics and order a half size up for them. One can feel pretty protected with the firm toe guard - kicking a rock will do little harm! Love these shoes and hope they never stop making this style. Yes, they look clunky, it's part of the package :) We need MORE colors. Also, the Presidio II do NOT give the toe space and haven't worked for me.

Good shoes - stiff leather
This is my second pair of these shoes. They have the largest toe box of any shoes I've ever worn. Great arch support too. I've worn the first pair for much of the last 7 years, and they're now history. These fit mostly the same, but the leather is quite stiff and squeaky. I'm hoping that's just because they're new and that they will soften up as I break them in.

Great shoes
This is my eighth pair of Keen shoes. And they won’t be my last. They are comfortable, well made and look great. You can’t go wrong with Keen.

New to Keens, so maybe they are always stiff like this. Too stiff, killing my body. ;-(
I bought them for work and they do seem to make my feet less fatigued, painful and have helped with my achilles tendonitis, so I am very grateful for all of that. I have high arches and while they do seem to give a lot of support, I do wish the shoes were a bit more flexible.Update, 8 months later: They are VERY stiff though and I am always soooo relieved to take them off after work. They have been KILLING my hips, knees and feet. They are still so very stiff and they don't feel like they have any cushioning at all. I wish I could return them but I have decided to sell them and get some running shoes for work instead. I will never try Keens again. The shoes are very well made, durable and still in great shape, so I'll give them that. I need flexible shoes though, I've learned (the hard, painful way). I had it this week when standing more than normal in them. I was in tears by the end of the work days. These are so awful for my body. So awful, I've started looking into a hot tub. :-( Funny, but not funny.
