New Seloc Mercury Outboard Motor Engine Repair Manual 1990-00 2 Stroke SEC 1416

I bought the manual to help me install a seal kit on the lower unit: procedures, special tools required, torque values, etc. The manual does not even mention a seal kit procedure. For the lower unit, they basically cover how to remove and install the prop and how to change the gear oil. Their tool section mentions that some motors and some repairs may require special tools but then they don't identify which motors/repairs or even describe the tools. I found this manual to be worthless and feel dumber for having read it.

Wish we'd had the manual before we tore into the motor. The manual was an excellent tool.
