Stellar James Martin 9cm/3.5" Paring Knife - Carbon Stainless, Razor Sharp Blade, Anti-Slip Handle

Been looking to replace my 20yr old knifes for some time, I came across this Stellar set some time ago they are very well made a wee bit light in the hand but I got used to them quickly. Was very happy with the price.

As the only person win the household who eats any kind of meat other than chicken I always struggled with cutting some tougher pieces of meat with standard kitchen cutlery. I eventually broke down and opted to buy a single steak knife myself after all these years. SO glad I did because this knife makes cutting the toughest of meats a breeze. Had it for around 6 months know and it's still as sharp as the day I purchased it, although it's only used occasionally. The knife seems to be built well and made of quality materials. It feels nice to the touch and has a nice quality balanced weight to it. I'd recommend it.

Very good. I must confess, I'm not really the kind of person these sort of things were designed for. Cooking shows leave me cold, and I don't appear to have been born with the genes necessary for being attracted to 'celebrity' chefs. Having said that, these were a decent price, and the right spec (and my attention span probably came into play). I've been using them regularly for a while now and they keep an edge pretty well. They are robust, well balanced and sit well in my hand. They have been through the dishwasher a hundred times and survived without any noticeable problem. They also have fluted blades, however, these have no discernible practical advantage over any non-fluted knife I have ever used/owned. Though they don't work, the flutes look pretty. So that's nice. All-together a good product and recommended. Four stars. I would give them five if they didn't have some bloke's name on them.

Nice quality, nice weight and feel to the handle. Haven’t sharpened yet so can comment on that but they arrive nice and sharp, my go to knife for all chopping. Good value

I had a much large knife made by the same company. We were looking for an everyday knife for cutting carrotts, cucumber, potatoes etc etc. This knife is perfect. it fits well in palm of your hand and isn't too big. so much so we bought another for when this is in dishwasher. We've only had it a couple of weeks so can't say how sharp the blade will stay but my other knife by same manufacturer has been perfectly fine for a good 8 years

Das Messer ist gut der Griff ist Mist da er mit einem klebrigem Gummiartigem Material überzogen ist der mit der Zeit weich und klebrig wird!! Vielleicht gut für Gartengrillpartys wenn man Handschuhe trägt....Im Haushalt eher unbrauchbar..... Nicht geeignet für Spülmaschine da der Prozess des Griffzerfalls beschleunigt wird! Für mich ein Fall von einem klassischem Fehlkauf! Oft wird das mit Absicht gerade so produziert um den Verkauf zu steigern wegen Nachkauf.... Hier ist aber eindeutig das Griffmatetial falsch gewählt! Keine Weiterempfehlung Ich rate vom Kauf ab!
