World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth Collector's Edition - PC

I'm so confused why people are giving this such low ratings. You knew exactly what you were getting before purchasing. You are leaving bad reviews on a product that has nothing wrong with it. If you have a problem with the contents, that's on you. You knew what it was. Go on blizzard website and post your frustrations in the forums. Don't come to Amazon typing how terrible it is just because you don't have the self control not to purchase something that you had plenty of advance notice of.Absolutely nothing wrong with this CE. Coin is cool. Book is cool. The envelope that your game key comes in is really cool. In game items are cool.This product is exactly what the description says. All the reviews are from people who purchased the product knowing exactly what it was prior to purchase.

The package arrived 1-week early and it was international shipping. Really surprised and pleased. The article was on perfect conditions and the collection item inside has a supreme quality. It is not a plastic toy. You will feel the weight and the detail once you carry the item.The book has good size, letters not too tired your eyes, the story on the horde side was excellent and written on the first person. Great images that remind me of The World of the Dark Crystal. Excellent.Thank you!

First of all, I cannot believe this is only $59.99 right now on Amazon! CE's lately are $100 brand new so it is shocking to me how this still exists, and for almost half the original price. Oh well. Anyway, Blizzard changed a lot with this CE and I'm sure it was very hit or miss with most people. I don't complain much or hate on things like so many other ungrateful WoW players, because I will always love everything that has to do with SC/WC/Diablo/WoW. But I do see their frustration when it comes to what's included in this CE. I never cared about art books so that doesn't bother me. What I do care about are the mouse pads and physical collector's soundtracks, which are sorely missing in this CE. I have no idea why Blizzard decided to make the soundtrack digital only this time, but it is definitely lazy. Also not including another current mousepad is unacceptable imo.Now, for the good. The horde/alliance book is of high quality and resembles the World of Warcraft chronicles style, and I love to read so that is a bonus. Also, the coin is cool but not necessary, however, anyone who likes to collect neat little warcraft things will find this will sit proudly among them on some shelf.As a collector's edition, I give this more like 3.5 stars. I still love the game very dearly and got so much joy out of the first year of the new expansion and I cannot wait to get almost another year of fun from it. And then Shadowlands! I just hope they bring back the mousepad and physical soundtrack, but I doubt it.

The game itself is very engaging and the new continents are beautiful. People complaining about the CE contents must not have read the product description. Yes, these are different from previous CE's, buy everything listed has surpassed my expectations. The medallion is heavy and looks very nice on my desk. Even the allion stand has cool details reminiscent of in-game art. The double-sided hard cover book has a cool texture to the cover and seems of good quality. The unboxing experience made it feel like I was paying for a premium experience. Very pleased with the purchase.

Not since Wrath have I enjoyed a WoW expansion so much. The environmental artists have truly outdone themselves. BFA is stunning at times. Quests are also fun and refreshing. Early Alliance questing actually reminds me of The Secret World Blue Mountain quests (which is a very positive thing). I love playing both factions because the BFA content is so damn good. Loving it.

Yes I know... you've been hearing how horrible this CE is and honestly... its not very good at all. I've been collecting every CE since Burning Crusade (sadly missing out on the Classic WoW CE). When this was all announced back in April we knew we weren't getting much. I am a completionist so I bought this mainly to go next to my other WoW Collector Editions on the shelf. I think most other reviewers have said what needs to be said... the coin is very nice but not worth the extra 30 bucks...no physical soundtrack....no artbook... etc etc. I think the item I am most disappointed in not receiving is the art book. I feel this novella won't have the type of re-read value as an artbook would. I am an art major so I always have enjoyed art books and seeing the thought process that goes into the development of the movies and games I love. I think Blizzard really could've made the negative feedback much better in just keeping what collectors and gamers love in their CEs... the removal of the artbook was, in my opinion, the biggest flaw in this box. I even miss my silly tradition of switching the mousepad out for the new expac version. It really does feel like Blizzard didn't try here... and if they really aren't making much money off the CE boxes maybe increase the price? Or heck, don't offer it at all if its that much of a bother! After seeing the love Blizzard put into the Overwatch Collectors Edition.... this is a blow to Warcraft fans... Don't try telling the fans what they want...as you can see it wasn't the most popular change!I gave this 3 stars because the game itself is 69.99 with the digital content and it's been very enjoyable so far for me =) For those who don't like Collectors editions or don't NEED it... don't bother here. Go digital and save 30-40 bucks on it. What you get here is not worth the extra funds. Spend that extra and buy an in game mount or something!I also wanted to throw out that I had pre ordered this back when it was announced and listed on Amazon. I received it almost a week after the game launched. ( 8/19/19 ) What is the point of pre ordering a game if you get it that late? I have gotten my Collector Editions since Pandaria through amazon with no issues for release day delivery....so not sure what happened this go around.....So between Amazon and Blizzard I'm disappointed in how this whole thing was handled. I had to buy the digital version to get playing with my friends... and not waiting a week after launch (had already paid of the pre order here with amazon gift cards) Luckily Blizzard will give me Blizzard Store Funds... but that isn't how I wanted to spend an extra 70 bucks =)
