Nichrome 80-32 AWG Gauge Spools 300 '

I use this wire for home-made model rocket igniters. A small strip (~ 5/16 " soldered to longer copper wires).It solders very nicely with standard rosin core solder, using a dab of diluted Naval Jelly for better flux, applied using a Q-TipI think the Fe content perhaps makes the wire easier to solder (with appropriate flux). A single 18650 battery is all that is needed to melt the wire.

It’s wire. It has resistance. It gets hot. All expected. No problems
