Great to use to practice your tangles!

It’s as described and what I needed. I use it for practicing and dreaming up new sketches.

I love this book! However, the first time I used this book I used pencil for shading and found that the pencil rubber off on the next page making everything look dirty. Also, because of bleed-through, I only use one side of the page. Because of the thin paper, half the book is waisted. So now I use copy paper for practice.Now I use the "Tangle Tile Sketchbook" to record my finished tangle patterns. And use it as a reference when doing a Zentangle piece. I'm on my second book. I use micro markers in this book and a Tombow grey duel brush marker (the lightest one in the grey-scale pack) for shading. Each book holds 300 patterns (using only one side). So now I thumb through "my pattern book," choose a design for a particular section , and Zentangle away!

I'm new to zentangling and this book is great for learning and practicing.

I found this book useful - simple blank squares begging you to create your own zentangles or pictures.

I expected the paper to be sturdier as these are meant for artwork...also the printing was low quality and some lines were not complete in the tiles

Use to practice zentangle

Go purchase paper. Draw some boxes on pages

Handy to have for zentangling. Makes it easier, having the boxes laid out, in one place. Be sure to put a piece of computer paper between the pages to prevent bleed through of the ink.

I bought this when starting on my Zentangling journey and use it to practice patterns in for layouts before replicating them in my proper drawing book.

The book is a great idea. As someone new to tangling I can see that I am improving. However, I am unable to use tiles on each side of the page as the designs show through the other side.I will not buy another sketchbook.

While I really like the idea of this book for practicing tangles, it hasn’t quite met my expectations.The paper to me seems about the weight of good quality copy paper. Unfortunately that’s not quite heavy enough for a lot of ink work. I’ve attached photos of both sides of the same page, and as you can see, the ink shows through the other side.So for me it’s a good idea, but not quite good enough quality.
