I was inspired to get one of these after my sister had gotten one for my mom, who is ailing and didn't obviously put it to use much, so naturally I got one for myself which I'm glad I did. I love all of the shades of colors it produces. It can be used for just one color or go full out for the transitional setting for all its form of colors[I usually have it on the latter setting, which is cool]. It even comes equipped with a hook you can use for hanging up like a lantern and it can be practically used anywhere!. Also comes with a charger so you can charge every 48 hours or so. The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this cordless touch lamp a few weeks ago for my bathroom. I have a small table next to my bathtub and needed a little cordless light with different lighting options. I also wanted something that looked like it would be okay if I touched it with a slightly wet hand. This lamp is perfect for what I needed it for. It comes with the USB charging cable, but no block. It fully charged in about an hour. I had to figure out that you have to hold several fingers down on the top metal piece to get the lamp on and off. You also have to hold it in the air to get on and off. I took away one star for the issue. It also has a convenient handle on the bottom so that it can be carried like a lantern. The white light has 4 brightness options which is also very nice. It gets fairly bright with the highest white light

Bought this for my daughter's bedroom and then had to purchase another one for my granddaughter for her room because she loved it so much. Every time she would come over, she would want to go in her aunts room to play with her light. Very cool as it had different colors which each give off a different type of ambiance in the room. Perfect for kids rooms who want some cool lights. The touch to change colors feature is the best!

I use these in my classroom and my students are pretty rough on them. They hold a charge pretty well (I charge them up once every week or two), and they’re quite durable physically. They’re also pretty bright when they’re on the maximum brightness (not enough for a dark room, but enough to keep the desk lit up in a dim environment). My students enjoy choosing the color for their desk and I have considered using it as a checkpoint for groups (green for done, blue for in-progress, red for stuck), but haven’t done it yet. Overall a great product for the classroom!

I got 3 of these to use in case the electricity went off in a storm. Charged them, and put them in two bedrooms and a bathroom. Also had other back up lights, like energizer flashlights that you plug in the wall, and they turn on automatically if the power goes off.I hadn't used these 3 lights since getting them four months ago ~ just charged them and put them in place. Think I plugged one in again recently, just to ensure it was charged fully.A tornado ripped through our small town within the last week. Thankful to be safe, but the electricity went out. Thankful the energizer plug-in lights worked perfectly, because these didn't. Not one of the three of these I bought in January would come on when touched. Perhaps they don't hold a charge well, as they did turn on right after I charged them initially. But who would've thought a battery would drain so fast when not in use ~ on an item like this, for emergency or off-grid use. They might work fine if used daily and charged frequently. But, I would not recommend these for emergency use.** Updating to add: Tried these again after electricity was restored. Had to touch the top of these lights for a few seconds, but they did come on.Still do not recommend these for emergency use. They didn't respond when I needed them to .. they have no handles for carrying .. and I still don't know exactly how well they hold a charge. They do come in nice boxes with a short USB cord for charging.
