A joy to use
This is a cool little lens, a joy to use for those who are not in a hurry to take good pictures. Focus ring is soft and well dampened. Aperture ring does not have stops, so you only use the numbers for a loose reference.Image is not the sharpest and vignette is considerable, but sharp enough and the lens has a lot of personality. My only complaint (which is not complaint for a lens at this price) is that the mount is made of aluminum, not stainless steel.

The Good: Pretty stinkin sharp for an inexpensive lens Seems ...
I ordered this lens after doing research about it and its optical quality. The Good:Pretty stinkin sharp for an inexpensive lensSeems like quality materials for constructionPlesant renderingPlesant bokehfocuses fairly close for decent magnificationfocus throw is not to short, not too long, just rightCons:Focuses past infinity (this may be a QC issue rather than a pervasive issue effecting all lenses. I'm judging a sample size of one)zone focus scale seems kinda useless since the infinity mark is not at infinity (this is tied to the lens focusing past infinity)Lens is pictured with a lens hood, I did not receive a lens hood.overall if you want an inexpensive and decent quality lens that will natively mount on a fuji camera, this will fit the bill. optical quality is good and it is easy to use. I also ordered a lens tab to go with it. the lens tab blocks to focus scale, but its kind of a moot point as the focus scale isnt accurate anyways. I wish it had clicked apertures, people who shoot video, this probably wont bother, but for a stills photographer, i like knowing where my aperture stops are without having to take the camera from my eye.its shipping from china. takes for freakin ever to get here. I knew this going into it so its not that i was surprised, just be aware it will take 2-3 weeks to get it. (EDIT: LOOKS LIKE AMAZON IS NOW FULFILLING THIS ORDER SO IS AVAILABLE FOR 2 DAY SHIPPING FOR PRIME MEMBERS)also just to be aware for any readers. This is an all manual lens. No auto focus, manual aperture control. I knew this going into purchasing it and was perfectly happy with this as I shoot mostly adapted film lenses on my x-pro1if it didnt focus past infinity (thus making the focus scale useless), and had arrived with the lens hood as pictured, i would have given it 5 stars,

so it's easy to change the aperture by mistake
This lens is cheap and sharp(ish). But it rattles on my Fuji X-T10. And you can't use it for zone focusing as the distance scale indicates something different than the point where the focus should be; and it's hard to focus a manual lens through a digital viewfinder even in broad light. Also, the aperture ring is only sliding - doesn't click into position, so it's easy to change the aperture by mistake. When I asked about these issues the seller told me that this is expected from a cheap lens. 'Cheap' is debatable as I paid for the lens, expedited shipping and import duties.I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it looks great as a paperweight.
